He was pouring in with his shots throughout the fight and leaning into the Marquez uppercut, which eventually finished him. Go well Juan Diaz. I hope you get your revenge.Comment

Some people seem to think that if you aren't a consistent contender for the top ten P4P listings then your career is a failure. That's crazy. Any fighter who fights top opposition, beating some of them, and wins world championship belts doing it deserves our respect. We're supposed to be fans of boxing and boxers on here, not just fans of Ring Magazine's top ten listing. It reminds me of some of the people who criticize Ricky Hatton. Whatever you think of him, he won multiple belts, one at a higher weight, and fought some good top ten opposition. He consistently took belts off existing, established champions. I am not saying that he was the greatest ever - he patently was not - but guys like that deserve our respect as fans of the sport, or we aren't real fans of the sport, imho. Diaz is a multiple belt world champion who has fought most of the top operators in his division and done very well against them. To me that makes him a great fighter, even if there are others with an even better resumeé. So give the kid a break! Not trying to offend anyone, just trying to keep some perspective.Comment

good...no one wants to see khan fight lightweights....we would much rather prefer watchin Khan/MaidanaComment

he got rocked by feather fisted paulie at 140 and u could see the size difference. stayin at 135 is best for him but all the big fights are at 140Comment

Good for Diaz to say no to the Khan fight and I don't see how he can be criticized? He had 3 of the 4 belts, fought some of the best the division had to offer, fought to win and was in school the entire time. I like the Baby Bull.Comment

Glad Diaz realizes that he simply wasn't carrying 140 that well. Hell, he could probably make 130 if he wanted.Comment
