Seriously some of you guys come up with some of the best conspiricy theory mumbo jumbo garbage that maybe you should think of a career of writing for tabloid magazines or something.
First of all, who says he really is willing to fight Mayweather? Because Arum said so? Please tell me if he is so willing now, why wasn't he so willing four months ago w/supposedly the same contract. Was he ducking then or was it FMJ??

Come on, so that is your reasoning? I can give u reasons:

    1. Fighting Floyd, Manny will make 2-3x the money he would make fighting Shane.

2.The difference in the amount he would've made fighting Cotto vs. Mosley was maybe a few million. The money and the lesser risk won out to beating #1 welterweight and the greater risk.

Destroyed is what Shane did to Margarito or Margarito did to Cotto.
    FMJ outclassed Mosley. Big difference!

You are ignoring the facts. If u think it a "conspiracy", please answer the following:

    1. Why make Shane come down to 142-143 but Cotto go to 145?
    2. Why not fight the bigger threat at the time and the #1 welterweight?
    3. Was it not consensus that Cotto was not the same fighter after he fought Margarito?
    4. Why did Roach say that he was not the same fighter?
    5. Why offer 142-143 and then when Shane said yes, did Pac and Co. still go to Cotto?
6.Why did Roach say that Shane was "too good"?

And finally, considering the above proof :

Why is the standard for "ducking" so high for pac, but so low for FMJ?

Ok Dunn, that is how I see it, how did you see it? Are you telling me Floyd was going to fight Shane even if an earthquake hadnt forced Berto to pull out of his scheduled fight with Shane? And if you answer no, who were the primary names being mentioned as possible opponents for Floyd before Shane became available. The ones I heard were Nate Campbell and Matthew Hatton. That is a weak slate.
