It's like when manny fought Cotto and everyon started spouting off about that he was ducking Shane. Cotto beat shane you dim wits!!! You arn't ducking someone when you fight one of thir past opponents who conquered them in the past.

He did duck him. His trainer said it himself. Explain why they wanted Shane to come down to 142-143(somewhere Shane hadn't fought in more than 10yrs) but Cotto at 145? Doesnt that make sense that they saw Shane as much more of a threat?

It's called ducking because Cotto didn't look the same anymore after the Margarito fight(something that Roach also confirmed). It's ducking because Shane was the #1 welterweight not Cotto. It was ducking cuz Shane was the one that KO'd the guy that bludgeoned Cotto and considered to be the better fighter at that time. Its ducking because Shane said he would meet at the catchweight and they still refused.

    That's ducking
Why is the standard for "ducking" so high for pac, but so low for FMJ?

Floyd took the fight because there was no way to back out and save face. I never question Floyds talent or ability, just his choice of competition.

Yet Manny is more than willing to fight the guy that recently beat Shane(Mayweather). Seriously if Manny was ducking Shane then shouldn't he be running as fast as he can away from a Floyd fight. Seriously how do you duck a guy when you are more then willing to fight the guy who destroyed him?

Seriously some of you guys come up with some of the best conspiricy theory mumbo jumbo garbage that maybe you should think of a career of writing for tabloid magazines or something.

You do remember the publics reaction to Matthew Hatton and Nate Campbell being mentioned as possiable opponents for Floyd after the Pac fight fell through the first time?

Sure, and I remember their reaction when they found out those rumors of those fights being even entertained were false.
