An old Ruddock would not go out like Mike Ackly did in the first thirty seconds of the first round. LOL. That would be assured.

Branco's a poor fighter, if it wasnt the WBC i'd be in serious shock that he got a shot at the vacant title against Gatti, but to get another shot at Cotto shows that the worst you are the more likely you are to get a world title shot.

Cotto should beat him within 6 rounds, but i wouldnt be suprised if he bitched out of the fight like he did against Junior Witter.

Haha yeah.. but Ruddock could PUNCH. Plus his size.. I truly believe he could have beaten Vitali in his day. Size and ridiclous punching power.. bad news for Vitali. Dream fights Vitali vs Ruddock/Morrison

I used to be one of those people who said Cotto needs to step up competition but came to my sences..

Even though his the greatest 140 pounder next to floyd right now, if he can get more fights under his belt, then I can see him being the king..

Wow, I think Branco has a VERY good chance of pulling the upset here

Although i disagree with your "greatest next to Floyd right now" comment, i think your right about the level of opponent Cotto needs to face, i just dont think Branco is a worthy or learning fight. There are plenty of tough and proven old timers who could teach Cotto a few of the old tricks.

I had Branco losing to Gatti by only a point when I scored it. HBO was outrageously biased that night, trying to get Gatti a title belt. I'm gonna be the first to say don't be at all surprised if Branco takes this one
