Much as I like juanma, after he beats the old man Marquez, he NEEDS to fight cab at the beginning of 2011.what cab needs To do though is have dibella get at salido for a fight coming up ,make easy work of him , take his belt then he could have a better chance before they make gamboa/juanma for middle 2011. Then there will be no one else at 26 that juanma can get at besides a very very longshot Chris John, but John is getting up there in age but at least he's the top dog at 26.

i don't know what caballero is talkin about because i saw a lot of interviews of him saying "i want to fight the best fighters of my division juanma gamboa israel vazquez and rafael marquez".

let me ask u guys if they offer caballero for example a fight with juanma for $500,000 and a fight with rafa marquez for $750,500 which fight do i think he will take? obviously the fight with marquez. i guess pr(juanma) vs mexico(marquez) makes more business sense than cuba(gamboa) vs mexico or panama(caballero) vs mexico so u can't hate juanma for that.

but i agree juanma after his fight with marquez should fight caballero.

in the meantime caballero should target chris john the #1 guy in the featherweight division for a fight this fall. chris john isn't schedule to fight anybody so i don't know why lou dibella isn't trying to make that fight i'm sure HBO will pick it up. he's talkin about caballero moving up to 130 to fight jorge solis or making caballero vs vazquez jr. i mean that's ****** he should make caballero vs john now and if cab beats john he automatically becomes the #1 guy in the featherweight division so it will be impossible for juanma and gamboa to duck him.

Sure you can say that now $$$ wise with Marquez but what about the previous 2 years??? Every single opponent for the past 2 years JuanMa fought would have made more money than cab? Don't think so...

Chris john is scheduled to fight on 07-26 Fernando David Saucedo. Not sure what he wants to do after taht.
