Manny is going senile, and their is the proof.
that, or wlad is so shot of confidence, manny felt that kind of praise would help.

It has been well known for years that Vitali is not a man, he is a machine. He isnt human. No human could withstand the beating Vit has taken and not gone down. No human can throw that many punches at that size.

manny please! all those fighters in their primes would have beaten wlad. the guy is just too basic and too robotic. holyfield, tyson, lewis, bowe etc would have all beaten this guy...

People are getting carried away with vlad he has never beaten a truly world class heavyweight...so to say he would beat special guys like holyfield and lewis is ******. He has done nothing thus far to prove that he belongs with those guys, I really respect his achievments and wlad has beaten solid competition, but none of those guys would just sit there and get out jabbed, holyfield/lewis etc were the total package, they were fast, good defence, durable, great skills, all around fighters thus why they are atg's.

My personal opinion is that on purely skill and ability wlad would stand the test against any heavweight, but im not sure he has the intangibles that he would need to compete with best of the best, especially in longer gruelling fights. I think he is a bad stylistic match up for Ali, and some of the shorter guys like frazier. If he could get past 4 rounds against a prime tyson he would have stood a good chance, but that is a big IF. But I think the best heavyweights would be able to take his stick and have the ability to land their own and thats when wlad would come unstuck

Because he won’t let you fight him. He makes you fight what he wants you to fight. But the biggest thing which I think people are not looking at is his speed for a big man. Tremendous speed. Foot Speed. He can move in, explode, move out, move back in, explode, and I’ve never seen anyone that could…move in and out and be in perfect balance,”

Since people are using Manny as proof Ray and Hearns were better than todays fighters. I thought Id point out clearly Manny doesnt think anyone could beat Wlad.
Great stuff. Thanks for posting this.

I would pick Vitali to beat Wlad, but I think it would be an interesting fight. Wlad has a bigger punch but not as good a chin, whereas Vitaly doesnt have as good one punch power but has an iron jaw. Vitaly by late stoppage.

I think Lennox, and Tyson both KO Wlad in their prime.
