Do you know what a catch weight is?? If Hatton fought his last fight at 147 which is the WW limit and Pac wants to fight at 140. To get from 147 to 140 is a catch weight cuz manny wasnt man enough to go to the limit. manny and his team walked away the 1st time to fight clottey and now it seems like they wanna walk away again to fight miguel or margarito.

Man stop it...Floyd didnt want nothing to do with those fighters, everyone hyped those fighters up like they doing Manny Pacquiao. Hatton had beat collazo at 147 and was a title holder, he beat castilo with a body shot in the fourth round. When asked who did he want next he replied "Im moving up to 147 cuz i want Floyd". He said his four rds against castilo had more action then Floyds whole career. He went back up to 147 and the public demanded Floyd to face Hatton, and once he ko hatton out, "oh he was too small". Marquez is another fighter who moved up in weight. He was chasing Pacquiao and called Floyd out, so Floyd fought him at a catch weight of 144", not only to prove a point to manny, it was to get the ring rust off. ( I dont agree with catchweights, If a man wants to challenge you, then he should fight you at your weight or dont fight at all!)


The difference between Floyd and Pac is when Floyd was moving up in weight he fought at his opponents weight. Example DLH at LMW...

100% right, Hatton's fat ass couldn't make that anymore, why you think they fought him? Roach & Pac can't just take a fight for rral and throw a fair one they always looking to exploit some advantage to make up for Manny's flaws, thus facing the kinda competition he has faced during the RUN.
