I agree with this article until further notice. Meaning until we hear from the MAYWEATHER camp. One thing I do disagree with is calling MAYWEATHER an ALL-TIME GREAT. Based on what? He's a HALL OF FAMER but ALL-TIME GREAT is a little far fetched in my opinion. I mean, you have to take risks to be great. MAYWEATHER has done everything except that so I don't mention him with the LEONARDS, ALIS, DURANS, HAGLERS, HEARNS, HOLYFIELDS, CHAVEZS.......you guys get where I'm going. This guy is scared to death of losing! I can't think of any other reason he would duck an era full of quality opposition. It's not like when TYSON was heavyweight champ or HOLMES for 8yrs. and didn't have anyone to dance with. There are plenty of fighters that would make him an ALL-TIME GREAT if he'd be willing to take the risk. waiting game... we know bob's track record for being a bullshi**er... and we know floyd's track record for being a diva... i wouldnt be surprised if ALL terms are agreed & all of this is hype. if bob arum was out of line for saying that terms were agreed by BOTH parties, then schaeffer & ellerbe would have IMMEDIATELY cleared things up... schaeffer addressed false NYSAC information, why wouldnt he clear rumors regarding the biggest fight in boxing... also, ellerbe is QUICK to respond to rumors as well.... IF the contract TRULY is agreed by both teams, then we have nothing to worry about.... bob wasnt 'negotiating through the press' like previously... he was simply stating that the contract was waiting to be signed by floyd (with GBP approval)... if this is the case, then it is up to floyd... we wait (floyd loves to push his fans' buttons). his floyd boys are eating it up.
if fight DOESNT happen:
• bob sent bogus terms & lied about GBP signing off.

• floyd CLEARLY avoids pac, if terms really were agreed with GBP.

either way, both fighters have options.
FLOYD can fight martinez or comparable opponent. if not, its going to be a DAMN SHAME.... i am not looking forward to waiting a year for floyd to fight a bum. floyd is his own boss... he DECIDES who he wants to fight... he will be judged on that fact. fighting once a year will not be enough unless the opponents are intriguing. but then again, floyd wont call anyone out... & apparently, he has to be 'formally' called out & the opponent has to be a huge PPV draw... his WW track record reflects he completely ignores fights the fans want. yay for boxing fans.

MANNY has plenty of options... berto, p-will, bradley, etc are gunning for him. so apparently, all roads lead to pacquiao. if he fights cotto, i have no problem since cotto/steward is calling pac out (we wouldnt want pac to be labeled a ducker right?)... manny/margs is a good fight, but margs clearly doesnt deserve it... jmm @ WW is a JOKE... since pac is still serving under bob, i expect to see bob using pac until he is COMPLETELY spent. bob owns him. who knows what kind of crazy **** bob will cook up for manny. OR, manny will stick to his promise and fight once or twice then retire... he better go out with a ****...

So I don't know boxing because it was reported that the Mayweather Vs Marquez fight only made 431,505 buys. I don't know boxing because if 100 people go to a bar and watch the fight they consider those 100 buys..... You don't have to be filipino to know Pacquiao is the most entertaining boxer in the world. Since HBOs numbers are public and easy to get do me a favor and fetch them for me and send them to me. Good Luck

I see this as one of those fights that even if it got signed than due to injury it will get postponed, or if it happened it would be boring or anti-climitical.

I personally think the momentum has been taken away for the fight. Don't really care much if it gets made. Pac should fight either Bradley, PW, or even Sergio Martinez. Mayweather may take Berto simply to say he is undefeated although few really see Berto as one of the best fighters in the sport; he was given a quesitonable decision against Collazo.

This is gonna be one of the easiest fights Floyd has ever fought. Paquaio's punk azz is gonna take the worse beating of her unnatural life. Anybody ever notice that her head is bigger than her body. That's a pretty big target.
