Like I said earlier. 300-400 pac fans, bob, dan rafael, bert sugar, doug fischer etc etc. can all blame floyd just like in March. And just like May floyd outdrew and outearned manny. Bob has gone down this road before. But making floyd look weaker doesn't make manny look stronger!

depends on who they fight. Arum's mistake was that he put Pacquiao against a fighter that only hardcore fans know about (clottey). Other than Floyd-Martinez, i don't see an opponent that floyd could match up with that would outsell Pac vs Margarito. Really Floyd is in a real tough spot here, their are no big time money fights for him out there other than pac. And well Pac if he plans to continue fighting after his next fight, he will also be put in a bad spot because their won't be big money fights for him either. Both fighters need eachother, although i would say at this moment Floyd needs Pac a little bit more.

Respectfully, the numbers tell a different story. Manny has yet to be paid what floyd has. Without manny, floyd fights martinez for likely $25 mil. Without floyd, manny fights marg or cotto for maybe $15-18 mil. Maybe the manny fight does 1 mil ( tough to assume 1.25 mil like manny cotto 1). Floyd martinez does 1 mil easy.

Bottom line, like floyd or hate him more people pay more to see him fight than manny.

Bringing this thread back to the relevant POV, if all sides have reached an agreement (meaning Pac has met all of Floyd's demands) and Floyd "still" walks away...Floyd supporters would you all still find some inconceivable way to defend that? In other words pretend all is right with the world and Floyd was granted all of his demands, but decides not to fight....then what?

If Manny has "agreed" to that expired 14 day offer from the FAILED negotiations (THAT'S FUNNY), then the fight isn't going anywhere.

So, a BoxingScene.com writer is trying to apply pressure on Mayweather to agree to Arum's terms, with "Blame Mayweather" in the title. They didn't get at Pacquiao when he supposedly wasn't agreeing to a 50/50 deal with the drug testing now later than 2 weeks before the fight. They're still negotiating, we don't even know the details yet and we're supposed to blame Floyd just because this writer says so without making any points. This guy's trying to threaten Mayweather's legacy with media influence and saying he'll be regarded as a safety-first guy instead of a defensive genius, etc, etc. It's BS that Arum has this kind of influence, and that the media hates Mayweather so much they try and pull things like this. I don't see how it's justified. Everyone's supposed to be quiet until the deal is done or falls through. This article is shameful. At least right now, Mayweather's team is being quiet like they're supposed to be during the negotiations.

No some floyd fans just don't care what Bob says. We saw this last time. It's floyd's fault he's a ducker etc etc. blah blah. Then 1.4 mil bought his fight. The truth is right in front of you. Adult fans paying their money don't give a **** what Bob says. They still buy floyd's fights regardless what him or rafael or bert sugar or doug fischer say.. Why?

because adults can read and make their own minds up. We know Bob is a liar. Why don't you?

So you found a way to dance around the question.

Let's try this again...Floyd has demands...Pac says yes..Floyd walks away...defensible or indefensible? Really simple grammar school level comprehension required here, simple YES or NO.

i'm not arguing who makes more. i'm saying that their is no big time money opponents for both fighters other than pac fighting margarito. i don't think cotto vs pac 2 would sell big because he wants to see a rematch of a ass kicking. pac vs a mexican fighter would sell though. floyd isn't going to fight martinez unless he is willing to move up to 160, since martinez was stripped of his 154 title. both fighters are being put into a hole right now. Pac has 1 fight that could make him big money. floyd doesn't unless again he decides to fight martinez at 160

Has nothing do to with what I asked, but great Arum is the devil.

Again, pretend Floyd's demands have been met (just suspend reality and pretend this is the case) , but he still won't sign...then what?
