How much have Pacquiaos boxing skills improved since the JMM 2 fight?

Many people had JMM winning that fight.

Most people will agree that if the Pacquiao with those boxing skills fights Mayweather an even better counterpuncher with better defence that he will lose a decison.

In my opinion his skills have only improved slightly if at all which means when he comes against the slick Mayweather he will get outboxed and outclassed.

    What does everyone else think?

No his skills they did not improve at all but his power did and on top of that the skill level of his opponents weren't as good after the fight with JMM.

I have seen very little improvement from the JMM fight Hatton he looked very scrappy and wild in the 2nd round, Cotto his defence did look better at times but still took some silly shots against a weight drained useless Cotto, Clottey proved nothing and De La Hoya didn't throw anything back either.

The only way to see if he has improved is to match him up against Marquez again at 140 or Cotto at 154 he cherry picked opponents he doesn't have to box against and can swing at will, Mayweather will school him and so will Marquez.

We heard the same thing before he fought Marquez a second time.

From Marquez 1 his technique improved greatly. There's a huge difference in skill and ability. From Marquez 2, not alot. Maybe slightly. JMM is just a bad style match up for Pacquiao. Happens to the best. Ali had problems with Norton and Frazier. It happens.

Up until the JMM II fight his skills had improved greatly. Since then, i really couldn't tell you cause that was the last fight Pacquiao was truely challenged by a skilled opponent. I guess what i'm saying is we will have to wait and see.

WTF? are you serious you *******, of course they all beat Marquez because there size alone. Are you saying that hatton is more skilled than Marquez and i don't think hatton beats Marquez anyways. Are you saying that a shot weight drained De la Hoya that Pac fought was more skilled JMM. Anyone with a pulse would have beaten Clottey that night. I give Pac all the credit in the world for beating Cotto though.
