On this site you hear "hype job" all the time but mostly its just to hate.
This is one guy that "hype job" fits perfectly.
His career has been more provocative in writings than fights. We always hear,"what he can do" what he might do, what he will do", But it never happens.
So to his fans......keep writing because that's the only thing this fighter has. Ill wait till I see it. Too many real fighters deserve the respect that this guys fans dream of.

Guzman has like 8 fans on this site so I don't know how that can qualify as being a hype job.

Everyone knows Guzman is skilled as hell but his downfall has been his training/dedication. That's basically it - a very talented fighter who has underachieved for many reasons but mostly due to his own fault.

So basically what I said is true. "Hype" is based on the article and his 8 fans..lol.

He's definetely not a hype job,he's proven this beating some good fighters from 122 to 135 but obviously his dedcation isn't there. His talent is.

any of those names he called out should not fight Guzman, it doesnt make any sense for them to take on guzman. They either risk having the fight cancelled, or fighting someone way way over the weight limit. Guzman has to prove himself by fighting lower tiered fighters, which he may not have the time anymore to do, given he is already over 30 years old. Back to square one, Guzman.

I don't see any reason for any of the top guys to fight him. He doesn't bring any money to the table and there's a high risk that he'll blow the fight on the scales.

guzman beats bradly by decision and stops khan and makes maidana look like a clown. his best fights would be bradley and and devon. why not guzman vs judah? they got names and skills and both need to redeem themsevles even tho guzman never lost but his recent weight problems has a question mark on his career. him and judah would be great

Really tho,Guzman's speed, crisp combos, and pop remind me of a young Zab man.But then again so does his lack of dedication......If he had it all together he'd beat all of those top guys @ 140
