According to trainer Lee Beard, former champion Joan Guzman is going to remain in the junior welterweight division and he plans to target all of the big names, including Amir Khan, Marcos Maidana, Tim Bradley and Devob Alexander. In March Guzman was nine-pounds over for his scheduled lightweight title bout against Ali Funeka. He won a unanimous decision, but his issues with weight has hurt his ability to get back on American television.

wouldnt be surprised if Guzman beat any of those guys. Lets just hope he can make weight and take his job seriously

If he is really serious. Then this makes 140 even greater at the moment. He has the skills to beat all of those cats

If Guzman comes in at top form, which is a big assumption, he could probably beat all of those guys. Alexander would be the toughest challenge and the best fight.

he's not a cheater just couldn't make weight a couple times. Funeka is/was the cheater who got caught using banned substances.
