I would love to see Sturm challenged, I would just prefer someone aside from Cintron.

I honestly don't think Cintron would pose much of a challenge and I am baffled by the fact that his name is even under consideration.

Cintron has not won a single fight at Middleweight in his entire career, he never won a belt at 154, and he was only able to win a belt at 147 because crafty matchmaking got him a shot at a vacant title against a no name fighter.
Agreed, except I think Cintron at his best would probably provide a solid challenge to Sturm. It's questionable what Sturm even has left at this point. 2-3 years ago, I would've picked him to be right up there with the best middleweights as far as actual matchups. Now, I don't even know.

Kermit doesn't deserve to be rewarded after literally taking a dive like that, the putrid little ****.

Let's face it. Sturm will never fight a good middleweight and got robbed against DLH, that's his only claim to fame.

Seems like the only way to get a title shot is to loss 2 or 3 fights in a row, Cintron is the luckiest boxer out there right now. Lucian Bute will surely challenge him next. To be fair Sturm was nearly 200 lbs at the end of 2009 he deserves a tune-up

I actually kinda like(d) Sturm for a bit, but getting crumbled by Castillejo like that was fairly embarrassing for him. Castillejo sucks.

Plus there's the whole pitching the tent in Germany and refusing to leave thing.

DiBella said the offer from Sturm's team was "very low." [Click Here To Read More]
Well, Cintron will give him a name on his resume at least - the guys he fought before weren't guys who had a name.

I think he wants to become famous in the states but it won't work - Americans won't appreciate his style of fighting and even with Roach in his corner now (if this is true I read it somewhere) he won't become a power puncher. He is a good technician but against guys with punching power it will be difficult for him - because he has to go 12 rounds with them and his chin can be shaky
