Thanks man, good to hear from you, even though you don't post very often you're one of the handful of people I take seriously around here.

p4p I think Michigan has the best fighters and the best posters.

Not only that, Margarito did nothing wrong in CA, so this whole thing is a big pile of steaming bull**** from the top down.
I am curious as to the development of your myopic defense of margachito. Is it derived from heritage, national origin or your hatred of Cotto and Mosley...or do you just hate authority figures attempting to enforce rules?

Whether or not he cheated against Cotto (which I believe he did) he DID attempt to cheat against Mosley. How do you warp that into he 'did nothing wrong in California'? Do *you* not understand how laws in the US work or do you subscribe to the 'no harm, no foul' school of thought? Criminal charges should have been filed but, sadly, were not.

Obviously you believe his perfunctory claims to innocence via ignorance, or you want to believe them. As far as I am concerned, he is guilty of attempted assault against Mosley...and HEAVILY under su****ion of assault against Cotto and possibly other fighters.

There is no bull****, and stomping your feet and whining about the treatment chito has received is not going to change that. If he were a real man, he would have borne his punishment with grace (whether he did it or not) by honoring the spirit of the suspended license by NOT fighting in Mexico. Are you honestly going to tell me that he could not earn money doing anything else? That whole 'deserves to earn a living' mantra has tired many times over. Though I agree with it, it does NOT mean he should be allowed to do it in boxing.

Nevada boxing doesn't need to lower their impeccable standards and let Margacheato into the state. Keep the cheating Mex in mexico he disgaced american boxing by his fraud and deceit and should be in prison asking for a pardon now not asking a nevada commission for another chance to crawl into the cesspool surrounding him and his entourage of garbage.

interesting thing here are the quotes from Margarito to paraphrase:

That was the first time Capatiello wrapped his hands like that

          then

The wraps felt the same as every other time, no different

lets use a little logic here:

If Margarito knew it was the first time his trainer had wrapped his hands that way he knew something was different, logical?

If Margarito's statement about not noticing his wraps to be any different than any other time is correct than he has directly opposed his previous statement.

          so:

Either he knew something was different and said nothing = complacentcy at best
          or
He could not feel the difference in the hard pad that was used on his hands because those hard pads were used in every other fight he has had making him guilty in how many past fights?

it pretty much has to be on or the other.........

Bottom line is, he has to go get his license back in Cali even though he dont want to fight in Cali. That is his only option, if not he can never get it back anywhere else in the US.

              Yep good point.

I bought up that same point about a year ago, when I first heard Margarito make that comment.

What kills Margarito here is this.....

FACT : An experienced fighter knows if his gloves are not wrapped correctly, and he is especially aware if they contain an insert or other foreign matter.

So to publicly admit that " the wraps didn't feel any different than usual " .....
may fool the general public, but will not fool anybody who knows boxing.

By his own admission, he either.....

              * knew that Capetillo had intentionally inserted something into each handwrap, because they did not feel normal

              * knew that Capetillo always inserted something into his handwraps

I think that Capetillo will sell his story in 15-20 years

Yep, and great to see the two commissions supporting each other on this one.

Good job Nevada for slamming the door in Margo's face.
