I think this fight would be alot closer than expected. Mayweather will exploit Hearn's biggest weaknesses; His Inside punching and his stamina/durability. He would still have to overcome Hearns hard punches and boxing skills. I guess Hearns SD.

After reading these responses I remember why I try to stay out of NSB. Floyd doesnt stand much of a chance at all in this fight and people are picking him by KO? who has he KOd thats in the same league as Hearns? who has he fought with Hearns power? Floyd is a great fighter and possibly P4P better than Hearns but Hearns is just much bigger and stronger

Tommy Hearns is known for his signature punch, thats what made him the man

Mayweather is known for taking peoples signature punch away from them

mosley right hook, oscar left jab, short hatton body punches, marquez jabs and straights,

there is a reason that his opponents work rate drops to about half when they fight him

Mayweather would throw straight right hands down the pipe, force hearns to purse him with jabs, lock him up and work him in the pocket, then hed probably sucker hearns into throwing big right hands and punish him for them


tommy hearns punch output would be about half of what it normally is by round 6

Floyd coulnt get close enough to throw straight rights without getting tagged by Hearns jab and right hand.
At range its all Hearns, and even on the inside Hearns would be too big, strong and powerful for lil Floyd.

The only weakeness Hearns had was that he would leave himself wide open to shots as he went for the big hits

mayweather would never expose that as mayweather is defensive and refuses to be open, if he is open, well you saw what happened in round 2 agai9nst mosley. Hearns by ko and this would not even be a close fight
