first let me get a few things straight..

      1. hearns' right hand was not horribly timed against anyone, he had great timing with all his punches. when your fighting the likes of benitez, SRL and duran your bound to miss a few shots. he tagged all of them more than basicly any other fighter they ever fought.

      2. hearns fought flatfooted when he was pressing the attack, so did floyd in his last fight. that doesnt mean eighter one of them is a flatfooted fighter in general. hearns often danced around the ring and was a master at using his feet to move in and out of range. anyone who thinks hes flatfooted havent seen alot of his fights and clearly dont know him as a fighter.

      3. hearns did better against boxers than he did swarmers. nobody ever managed to outbox hearns and beat him with precision. SRL couldnt outbox him, benitez couldnt outbox him, hill couldnt outbox him. the times he lost were to guys like barkley and hagler who came in and attacked him furiously with punches in bunches. again u really dont know **** about hearns.

hearns would beat floyd easily, KO within 4. floyd wouldnt be able to outbox hearns bcuz of his handspeed and height. the way to beat floyd is with the jab, hearns would keep him at the end of the stick and rain in power shots. floyd wouldnt be able to get inside, the reach, handspeed and power would push him back. hearns would kill him.

also let me add how ******ed it is saying hearns is overrated.

      cuevas
      duran
      benitez
      SRL
      shuler
      hill
      minchillo
      roldan
      olajide
      kinchen ETC

the mans resume was nothing short of incredible.

It's obviously a trick question guys, floyd would never agree to it. Hehe sorry had to take my little shot. Well to be honest Hearns was so big and he knew how to keep his opponents at a distance with his great jab. and we saw what a bigger older DLH's jab was able to do to floyd. it kept him in the fight until he started to gass and floyd just countered him at will. Prime hearns wouldn't have that problem and floyd would have trouble getting close enough to him to counter

Hypothetically if this fight did happen, floyd would get on a bike to avoid hearns jab, mayweather would probably sucker him into throwing big right hooks like mosley, which his game plan would be to take it away, he would use his footwork to force hearns to chase him, lock him up and beat him up on the inside,

hearns would have a hard time getting off agaisnt floyd

mayweather made one mistake by letting mosley hit him witha big right, he didnt go down, hearns is not in another league of knockout power than mosley is, regardless if you are living in the eighties and think that no one ever could beat anyone from that era, except robinson of course

in ten years floyd will be regarded as one of the best boxers EVER. Somehow people tend to discredit fighters of their own time

24 voted Mayweather to win and 1 said a draw. Unless joking, all of you need to be on everyone's ignore. Or just ban them and make it easier for everyone.

Im surprised that people say Hearns was bad on the inside. It certainly wasnt his best spot, but the man had wickedly powerful body shots and could get good leverage on his shots despite being so lanky and tall.

The body punches he landed on Barkley before getting knocked out were alarming. Barkley was one tough bastard.

                      Jeeeeeeeesus!!
Its not about people sucking Hearns balls, its about styles.

Floyds counters wouldnt work against Hearns who was too long, too fast and too powerful.
Floyd also would do **** on the inside as he would get hit coming in and Hearns is just too big and strong and lovely for Floyd to have any success with close.
