I remember that. There's an eerie naysayer silence in the forum halls after that fight happened.

pullcounter is shot. His posts are laughably pathetic these days. Nevertheless, this thread is hilarious. I remember when Arum said this. Then Roach said Floyd would never fight him. Manny then picked Shane to win. Fun times.

yeah well look at the fight, he dominated some rounds but it was half to do with Shanes age. He got tired. Shane almost knocked Floyd cold in round 2.

It's the same Shane that fought Mayorga and lost too Cotto. He didn't use any skill to beat Margarito. All he did was pound his chin untill it broke. That obviously wouldn't work against Floyd.

Almost knocked out cold? Yeah Floyd was hurt but he was on his legs and never close to hitting the canvas, he got hit by 2 shots, defended himself and then beat the **** out of shane making him "tired".

              Amazing excuses...

thats not what they said before the fight, you are on of those too who is making excuses instead of giving credit. Is it floyds fault shane got tired? The fact is Floyd fought the top welterweight who dismantled Margarito. Pacquiao fought Clottey after ducking Shane Mosley and Rejecting a 50/50 split offer from Floyd lol.

People forget that just about everydamnbody crucified Floyd for dismissing Shane when Shane got up in the ring asking for a fight. They also claimed he wouldn't stand toe to toe and exchange with Shane and risk getting KO'd.

No they're saying Shane was old. Which one is it?

This post pretty much sums everything up.

1.) He fought shane when people said he wouldnt risk it, as he could risk a potential Pacquiao fight if he loses and that he is scared of Mosley because of his size. He fought shane...

2.) They said he would run and wouldnt exchange. He did...he was right in front of Mosley and trading with him.

3 .) People said he wouldn't risk getting KO'd, lol he was right in front of him and Mosley hurt him with 2 big shots, Floyd could have baldomire'd Mosley and won 120-108, but he decided to fight him instead, ****m richardson even warned mosley he would stop the fight.

4.) Remember *******s saying how it would flop on PPV? It did more ppv's than pacquiaos highest ever ppv, and bare in mind Mosley is not a ppv star like cotto or de la hoya were, yet mayweather-mosley did more.
