Comments Thread For: Donaire Trying Hard To Stay Motivated For Marquez

The training camp of a professional boxer is hard enough when things are going well - endless miles logged on lonely, pre-dawn runs; bruising rounds of sparring that deduct years off a fighter's prime; abstinence from delicious foods, alcohol and other pleasures. [Click Here To Read More]

Donaire is the biggest joke in boxing. A complete disgrace that hes Top 5 P4P.

This dude is needs to challenege himself already. Enough is enough. Stop weight draining to fight little people. Move up to Bantam and fight REAL threats like Montiel, Hasagawa, Perez, Moreno and Mares.

This is just another fight that has Donaire fighting a smaller guy. Hopefully when he moves up in weight he'll fight guys in the bantamweight division.

Just because The Ring has him that high in their P4P ranking, it doesn't mean he's actually a top P4P fighter.

I agree it's a completely joke they have him that high. It's been 3 years since he knocked out Darch. and he hasn't done nothing of note since.

lol, so I take it no one read the article.

This is Donaire's last fight at 115. Win, lose, or draw. He is moving to Bantamweight after this match. From advice from his own trainers, so it's pretty much a done deal.

Donaire is bossy, I want to see him fight 118. No Montiel fight for him though, fuck that. That fight is reserved for Hasegawa. Donaire should dismantle Mares.
