        That is correct.

        There is a level of 50% in hematochrit that may not be surpassed due to 'health' issues.

        EPO is a wonderdrug. It also helps your body recover faster from tough work-outs (very intense training...) and heals injuries. So it can be used to great effect during and before camp and just up to a fight as well where it will increase your endurrance.

        As far as testing goes the cycling federation (UCI) does now have a test to detect EPO, but unfortunately not the later derivates.
