Hence why I made it... there are 20 out of 25 front page threads about these two, when nothing news happens.

I just wanted to fit in to NSB.

I hope Mike Jones kicks his ass. I haven't even seen Mike Jones fight, I just like Mike Jones because Mike Jones has a name that I like.
          D. Nobody looks all that great against Collazo. Collazo is a very tricky Boxer, with loads of experiance. I don't understand why everybody acts like a struggle against Collazo is such a damaging blow to a career. Luis is a monster for almost anybody.

Mike Jones won't beat Berto at this stage. Mike is gonna need some tougher comp before he stands a solid chance against Andre. Mike IS promising but he aint ready yet.

Yeah I think the Quintana fight won me over. I like when fighters get physical.

Which is why I like Andre Ward. Berto is a strong ass WW he was throwing Q around like a rag doll.

I would agree with you, because of what he did to that Ricky guy that there is only one of, but... Sugar Shane Mosley gave him the face treatment pretty hard.

Berto is supposed to be a young Mosley at this point. Something doesn't add up.

I was a little surprised he got Quintana out of there like that. I thought Q was gonna put up more of a fight. I didn't look at it as Q being off, I looked at it as Berto being on. He was sharp and crisp, and he sowed that he can change his style up to suit the opponent. THAT is a big plus and is as underrated as much as a fighter who finishes well, IMHO.

Not 100% sure on this but I've heard he had a shoulder injury against mosley, I might be mistaken though

I am convinced beyond any reasonable doubt that the fight is not happening this year. Based on the proposal that Arum claimed he sent to Mayweather, he obviously does not want to make the Mayweather/Pac fight and he is trying to make it sound like Mayweather will be to blame if the fight is not made. It is unfortunate that a lot of idiotic boxing writers and 90 percent of the people on this site will buy into his bull**** and blame Mayweather just as they did the first time the fight fell through.

I believe that Pac wanted the Mayweather fight next. I don't believe that Arum wanted it. He has not made a good faith negotiating effort because he wants Pac to face one of his fighters next. If he fights either Cotto or Margarito, I believe the fight will do poorly on PPV and Pac will either have a tough fight or lose the fight in the ring and get a controversial decision like the Marquez fights. Then Arum and Pac will be begging Mayweather for a fight in May just as Mosley begged for a fight for three years after he turned down a fight with Mayweather in 2006.
