i hear people say."floyd doesnt need a trainer to perform..but manny needs roach for the game plan"wtf??(pullcounter quote) mannys fighter of the decade so why should floyd be held at a higher standard??
Because hes the better fighter. Its really not that hard. Floyd more than likely beats Pac regardless of his trainer Pac stands no chance without Roach. See the difference?

Roger is a very very good cornerman. He is relaxed and doesn't bombard the fighter with so much info they won't take in. He also gives good advice and has a good demeanour.
This is yet another example of double standards being applied to Floyd. I don't mind....it just reaffirms he is the best of this era and always has been. Manny has to beat him to prove otherwise IMHO, and even then Floyd's on the decline IMO.
Despite my opinion that Roger is a very good cornerman and trainer i have to agree with the Pac "fanatics" on this one. At the end of the day Floyd is his own corner. He makes the adjustments mid fight.

Thats what people dont get is that he is such a great fighter that shooting par isnt good enough. We dont want to see him fight Lws and 38 year olds we want to see how great he has the potential to be. Otherwise we have a Roy Jones type situation where we have no idea how great the man truly is.
i think we already know he is elite. His dominance has been questioned once and an immediate rematch was given. There are fighters who could go through his resume undefeated (Manny not being one), but there are non who could beat all the fighters he did with such dominance. It's like Lampley said.....it's not a situation where these fights are even close and his dominance is being questioned.
