How can you say Cotto doesn't hit hard enough to slow down margarito, when chances are he wasn't given a fair chance? Let's say marg's gloves were loaded, then it's fair to say once the plaster hardened, it not only mentally drained Cotto, but also physically, causing him to lose his own power. Not to mention margarito in the first 6 rounds had a huge motivation to keep going forward, knowing the plaster would eventually harden. If margarito didn't have the plaster, then maybe Cotto wouldn't have tired (mentally or physically). Maybe then he'd be able to continue boxing his way to a UD or even break margarito down (although Cotto would naturally tire by the later rounds.) This is why the rematch needs to happen, to put all doubts to rest..

Margarito used to sell, I don't think he sells anymore. If this fight makes money, it would be because of the hype the fight brings. A proven cheater, and a guy that got cheated. Plaster Master is nothing without his plaster, look what happened with SSM, with Diaz, his last fight, Marg's fans will tell you that he is a different fighter now b/c he is trying to box. Marg has to box now, b/c without the plaster, he is back to being the fighter that did not have the power to beat nobody, the only thing he had going was his chin. If I was Cotto, I would have him tested for steroids also. Marg is going to try to prove to the world that he did not cheat against Cotto, and since he already is known for doing anything to win a fight, he will try to get an edge. You know what they say, "once a cheater, always a cheater."

Cotto is likely gonna receive an even bigger ass whooping than he got the first time. You will probably never see margarito more motivated and in greater shape. Miguel better hope that mosley cracked margarito's chin. although after basically a year of rest and then a tune up fight, i could see the old margarito back in business!

OK TONY GOT CAUGHT WITH THE WRAPS THAT COULD EXPLAIN HIM NOT LOOKIN GOOD BUT WHAT ABOUT MOSLEY?? A FORMER STEROID USER. COULD IT BE POSSIBLE THAT TONY GOT CAUGHT TRYING 2 CHEAT AND THEN GOT CHEATED HIMSELF??? I KNOW MOSLEY HITS HARD BUT DAMN, HE DAMN NEAR TOOK MARGARITOS HEAD OFF. AND THEN LOOKS LIKE THE OLDEST MAN IN BOXING IN HIS NEXT FIGHT. I KNOW STYLES MAKES FIGHTS AND TONY IS 10X'S EASIER 2 HIT THEN FLOYD BUT ITS SOMETHING 2 CONSIDER.
Amen brotha...I thought the same thing. Against margarito Mosley was a machine, and seemed like he could go for 10 more rounds at the time of stoppage. Whereas against Mayweather he was gassed by the end of 2nd...just makes you wonder...plus Mosley isn't getting any younger and since $$ is his #1 concern, could have chosen the fight at the cost of random blood tests...

Why would you just ignore how bad Margarito looked in his last fight? Literally watch the video of the end rounds. He looked ready to go. He looked like he did right before Shane ended his career.

Don't you want to see Cotto get the win in hostile territory? It would increase the value of the win.
