so margos wraps were inspected b4 the fight agiasnt cotto.... cotto lied...
Nevada State Athletic Commission director Keith Kizer is confident there was no foul play on the night Margarito stopped Cotto.
"I know that he wasn't rigged during the Cotto fight because we had our inspectors check him out and everything, as did Cotto's people. He was fully checked out. One of our referees, Jay Nady, was back there, we had our inspectors back there. Cotto's guy was back there. They all checked him out and everything was fine," said Kizer.
"They felt the hand wraps and everything, and we have an inspector who I've seen check the hand wraps before, and he checks them out thoroughly. He watched the hand wraps that night. If you don't have experienced inspectors, you can probably slip something through."Comment

Make it happen, so it takes away Pac's excuse for allegedly ducking Mayweather with these future opponents. Who would Arum match him up with other than Mayweather that's not too big, too small, too tall, not promoted enough, etc etc etc
Although I would have rather seen Mosley vs Cotto IIComment

Funny how this Keith Kizer want to cover his ass now.
Off course he's going to say that they "FELT THE HAND WRAPS". But is not said on the article is that th plaster hardens only after moisture (sweat). Therefore if the plaster was inserted inside the gauze/wraps before the fight and wrapping the hands it would still be soft and the inspector would not feethe plaster in the hand wraps.
The only reason that they noticed on the Mosley fight is that Margarito's corner wa so dumb that they used a used plaster which had hardened already and it even had stains of blood, probably used on his previous fight and guess who his previous fight was?? Exactly Cotto!!!!
Didn't they showed als a blood stained wrap on on of Margarito's had also, on the ring after the Cotto fight was over???
True that there is no hard evidence YET that he used plaster against Cotto but to think that he didn't use the plaster is to be very naive.
Margarito was the underdog against Cotto and the favorite against Mosley, why use it against somebidy you expect to beat but bot against the person you suppose to lose to????
Anyway if he gets his license back I'm all for the fight.Comment

This is a fight I've been interested in, even before the controversy came about with Margarito's hand wraps. The first fight was very competitive, and definitely warrants a rematch (IMO). Should be one hellva fight if an when it takes place. Now if Mayweather would just sign off to fight Manny -- boxing fans will have 2 good fights to look forward to going into the 2nd half of the year.Comment

Envangilista admitted in not being presend during the handwrapping. Kizer the NSAC his job is to say that they inspected to keep the integrity of the commission. Maybe the NSAC did inspect thorouly or just merely looked and didn't care. Nobody knows but Margo and his team. P.S. fighters do know what goes in the wraps, your knuckles are not numb, you feel everythingComment
