Comments Thread For: Mike Tyson Rules Out a Return, Cites Health Issues

The once undisputed heavyweight champion of the world, "Iron" Mike Tyson, has ruled out any possibility of a return to boxing. Tyson, 44-years-old, spoke to a Kazakhstan paper and said there is no chance he will ever fight again. He squashed another rumor by telling the paper he doesn't have any desire to become a trainer for other boxers.

    happy to hear this
never believed he'd come back after Mcbride
Tyson should concentrate on family like he said
he couldn't be effective in boxing now anyway
would love it if he did become trainer though

Hes found peace it seems. But i doubt anyone believes he could ever make a comeback. He could return, but as what? He wouldnt beat anyone thats for sure.

Lennox lewis nearly killed him and you dont recover from those kind of beatings. The kind of beatings he used to give poeple.

Happy to hear that he is not coming back. I pray for him for his healthy life. Nowadays he is in Saudia Arabia and visited the HOLY PROPHET (PBUH) city of MADINA as a official guest of the Saudi government. He entertained everyone in the ring. GOD forgive him for his wrong behavior in the past. I love you IRON MIKE (ABDUL AZIZ).

if those are real quotes, it seems he severely hates a memory or more of boxing and wants to leave it behind. he says helping children and such only matters now, but wants to forget the inspiration he's given others through beating other peoples brains in. a perfect world.
