Pavlik is okay as a fighter he beat a brain dead evaporated Jermain Taylor and then got exposed as average by a legend Hopkins. Pavlik needs to drop the small time operator handling and training him and get a world class trainer who can develop him amd maximize his skills. Now he is just going into the ring unprepared for world class fighters because his trainer is a plumber. If you have a fast horse you don't use him to plow. Get out of the hole Youngstown and a trainer who knows something. Drop the flunkies who are mismanaging your career now!!!!!

Well Pavlik can do the same thing, just 3 times harder. That would be a closer fight than everyone thinks. He would even have a shot at KOing P.Will.
i agree p will does not move at all his offense is his defense i think kelly could get a ko but itz a tough fight.

I think Martinez would box his ears off in a rematch at 160, and I dont see Pavlik winning a title at 168 as long as those titles are held by the likes of Ward, Dirrell, and Bute. Kelly is between a rock and a hard place, struggles to make wieght at 160 and too many good fighters in the division above. I can see him beating Froch, Kessler, Andrade, maybe AA, but not the other titlists.

            Pavlik should fight Williams.

And then the winner can fight the winner of Sturm-Martinez which im pretty sure will happen sooner rather than later. I don't see Pavlik beating Martinez or Sturm but a fight with Williams would still be a big fight and an exciting fight.

People forget that Pavlik very well could have won that fight with Sergio if he hadn't gotten cut so badly (yeah, I know-- big "if" but still...) He would definitely have a solid chance against PWill who has extremely limited movement in the ring and doesn't hit particularly hard.

If he stays at 168, I think he'd have more than a puncher's chance against some of the straight-ahead fighters like Froch or Bute, although he'd still be a heavy underdog.

It will be hard for Pavlik no matter what division he goes to but I think that him and Andrade would be a good fight to watch and a nice fight for Kelly to try and gain some confidence back

                  I meant Kessler, not Bute.

Pavlik is afraid of moving up to the super middleweight because the division is loaded with talents. He's going to get hurt if he fights Bute, Ward, Direll, Kessler, Abraham and Froch. He's going to get knocked Out! Even Andrade will give Pavlik a terrible beating! Over hyped Pavlik should retire!

pavlik should be advised to stay at 160 lbs. he might be able to **** it out w/ guys like froch and abraham, but he will get ****ed up by dirrell and ward.

pavlik should fight pwill. that's a good style match up for him if he can counter pwill's underwelming speed.
