Exactly my point, they must be kicking there own asses after seeing the outcome of Cotto/Foreman. To hyporcitical for my taste. I'll still watch but understand the motives of the whole situation

Even Pac admitted that Cotto's body shots were killer, and had they continued, it may have been over.

Fighters make adjustments. You are among the morons who always assume a 2nd fight will happen just as the first. If that were the case, Pavlik would have KO'd Taylor earlier in the 2nd fight than he did in the 1st, Hopkins wouldn't have beaten Jones, Ali wouldn't have beaten Frazier or Spinks, Bowe would have beaten Holyfield in fight #2 (and lost fight #3), and so on.

You are dumb if you assume it will go the same way. Fighters adjust, and Cotto is a legitimate champion. There's no way he'll go in with the exact same game plan as before, nor will he execute the same mistakes as before.
the 2nd fight wouldn't be the same actually. cotto wouldn't go 12 rounds this time unfortunately

cotto isn't in a stage of his career where he'll improve just because he got a new trainer. margo and pac beat the prime out of him, and that won't come back even if jesus comes and trains him

and um yeah, you're ******ed too evidently, so don't worry about me. when you "slip" while getting hit in the face, it's actually called a knockdown. cotto slipped twice while getting hit in the face

you should learn these things if you wanna know a thing or two about boxing sonny

If you think the fight will be the same at 154 while I disagree, at least fight at 154 and find out. Don't fight at 152 if its for the 154lb title.

i said it WON'T be the same, since cotto won't be the same, nor pac. i think it'll end earlier, since cotto's face keeps swelling up faster and faster. cotto's face was DEFORMED the day he arrived to PR after his win over yuri. i should know, i saw him at the airport

he won't hold up against pac. he should fight margo or another dude, but he won't beat pac at this stage of his career

Now that argument I will buy. If yuri wasn't hurt he may have won that fight. he was catching cotto clean but his weak ass power couldn't finish him. If they fight, do it at 154 and erase any doubt.

Well, when I was looking at this when Cotto first said he was going to 154. I thought I knew then the real reason for it. I know I'll probably be hated on by fan boys or pac or praised by floyds fan boys but, I try to look at it the way it is. Yuri would have give Pac fits. He moves way too much has a long reach and a decent boxer. Yuri also is a tough dude no matter how feather fisted he is. It would have been a hard fight for Pac and I'm not sure Yuri could really get down to 150-152 who knows. Pac says Yuri is too tall but, in reality he actually boxes and that's the problem. So either way I don't fault Pac because it is a bit to chew going up that high. Now so that Pac can get his 8th title insert Cotto and I wasnt sure about it but, very proud of the way both guys fought. Now it's an easy fight to make and one that will line Bob's pockets nicely...

he was down and wasn't catching up. he had a very good round 4 but lost 5 and 6. after round 7, he obviously was done. a pre margarito cotto wouldn't leave that fight so swollen that you wouldn't recognize him

i'll try to look for a vid

Bob Arum and Bob goodman keep manny away from slick boxers with movement. Thats why Roach said Yuri was to tall at 5'11 but Margarito is an option at 5'11.

You sir are a Pac hater...

It's the reason why they backed out of the Mayweather fight. Roach even said he needed more time with Manny. I've said this so many times. If Roach can get Pac to do any decent boxing going backwards Pac/Mayweather will probably be an all-time best.
