    How soon do people forget.

When the first round of negotiations between Mayweather vs Pacquiao broke down, Pacquiao's camp listed Marquez as a possible opponent. The catch was that Pacqiuao would want the fight at the WW limits. Stuff like this just goes to prove that Team Pacquiao always want all the advantages or they won't fight. Marquez is too small to fight at WW as proven ve Mayweather. Marquez might be able to fight at Jr WW but that he has yet to fight anybody at thw weight. At Lighweight he has Ko'd the top two beltholders and di not cherry pick his opponent. As far as fighting Kats, the fact is that he KO'd the two belt holder in the division that have beaten Kats. Nothing really to gain from beating a boxer that lost to the belt holder he KO'd. Marquez next if he gets past Juan Diaz is to go up to JR WW for the opportunity to win a fourth belt however unlikely it is.

Pacquiao might have knocked Marquez down once in the second fight, but he was the fighter that was retreating and covering up throughout the fight. He was a bloody mess goung into the later rounds until he was able to cut Marquez with a HEADBUTT not a punch. If you see the tape after the bell sounded in the last round, Roach and Pacquiao did not look like they thought they won the fight, they were clearly dejected. Pacquiao's face and left eye tell the tale of the fight and the blood and cut were not created by a headbutt, they were created by countless blows to Pacquiao's face. The majority of fight analysts gave the fight to Marquez. Even the impartial Bob Sugar thought Marquez xlearly won, as well as a large number of thr Philipino analysts) I guess they were Pacquiao haters).

Good for Marquez. He is good, but has no business at 147. Now Manny has made everyone looked weak at 147.

I wouln't mind seeing Mayweather beat Pacquiao @ 147, and see Pacquiao drop to 140, there are a lot of solid fighters there, but i think Pacquiao could take them all out and still go on building his legacy, otherwise i don't see this happening.

Legends get knocked down 3 times in round one and where most would stay down and give up, legends come back and dish out a pounding for the rest of the fight and not let the other guy win...and what does drinking piss have to do with one's legacy?? At least that ain't illegal...

Rumor has it that they wanted JMM at 145 (that's one pound over what Mayweather got bashed for requesting him at).

But of course they wont go back to 140. The undefeated/un-exposed young Tim Bradley is calling him out. JMM is calling him out.

Hell Pac wouldn't even fight "too good" Mosley at 141-147, yet say they only want to fight at 147 or above now. They want Cotto's 154 belt at 150-151. They wouldn't even fight Cotto at 147....

also, Pac beating Hoya is like Joe Calzaghe beating Roy Jones jr. It wont mean shyt in the history books.....

                      and people bash Mayweather? lol
