In all seriousness? This is a prime for prime question. And Oscar was in a position to fight whoever he wanted. Floyd couldn't draw flies to **** and was avoided like the plague because of it. Oscar gets credit for fighting Tito. But let's face it, he cherry picked every other fighter while Floyd had to fight Corrales just to get a deal with HBO
    Cherry picked??

Who else fought Quartey??? What top WW?

Who else other than Tito had the balls to go up in weight and face Hopkins??

Who else won a belt around his 12th fight??

Who else faces the P4P #1 fighter in the world in under 25 fights?

How can you have one of the best resumes and call it cherry picking??

Lets not forget why Quartey-Tito and Quartey-Whitaker didn't happen.

Also lets not forget what version of Quartey that was and the mysterious "cut"

Also yes he won his first title in just 12 fights. Now answer this, how many fights did the champ he beat for that title have?

Lets not forget how that P4P fighter looked in his fights leading up to that... Matter of fact by that time Roy Jones was considered the best P4P fighter in the World. Since the former P4P #1 fighter was looking like he was slippin.

Like IMDAZED says: "more important than who is when"

      One of the best resumes?

I get so drained from this--I swear we've gone back and forth too many times over this. Ehh, **** it, we both love it.

Your first comment is befuddling. Quartey had an agreement with Tito for a November 14th bout. King was usurped by Arum and HBO, who offered Ike bigger money. Quartey foolishly agreed even though Oscar scheduled a bout with Chavez two months before (why, God only knows) and then promptly pulled out of the bout. Quartey hadn't fought in ages and simply wasn't the same fighter. And let's face it, had the Jose Louis Lopez bout not occurred, Oscar would've continued to pretend Ike didn't exist.

Your second comment is equally befuddling. did Oscar go up in weight or did Bernard come down? Was that even a fight?

Yes, Oscar beat Jimmy Bredahl in his 12th fight. Umm ok. And Bredahl held the WBO title which, in 1994, had as much prestige as the WBF crown.

Yeah, Pea was #1 pound for pound like Hopkins is #3 p4p today.

Actually if you must know IMDAZED is my alt. Don't you notice how damn near every time I write something I come in after in my IMDAZED account and write ALMOST the similar thing? Smarten up man is obvious we're one in the same.

Red K for being an idiot.

He still fought him, that is what counts. If he wouldn't of fought him and let's say Tito and Whitaker would of, Oscar would of been called a ducker for this.

Not sure at the moment. Where was Pac in his 12th fight?

You can't be perfect in every fight.

Like most of Pac's opponents. A great has 2 so called fighters in their prime on his resume but yet you **** on Oscar's. Sorry that he hurt your feelings as a kid, get the fuck over it.

                One of the best resumes?
Ummm who else has a better resume then in his time?? Not many.

You got this one? Or should we gang tackle him?

No it wasn't, I understand there was a catchweight.

Didn't Tommy Hearns have the WBO belt?? How many years ago was that? Sorry I might have it confused. I'm kinda buzzing, have the day off tomorrow.

Ahh. You made it seem as if Oscar moved up to middle. He moved to 155. Bernard moved to 156. Just sayin' .

You're right. And no one considered Hearns a legit title holder. My friend, the WBO was a farce back then.
