No, you don't understand. I've dealt with a moron who said things like pac defies logic before and he also kept throwing around "intangibles". He was using that because he didn't know what he was talking about.

That's not the only pac fan I've met who loves to use that word, but thanks for explaining.

This is something that I've always wondered about. Can "skills" in boxing exist even without being validated by tangible results, such as wins? Can we call a boxer skillful when those so-called skills fail to give him solid wins? Or is the proof of the skill in the pudding (winning)?

Judah has way more skill then Pac. People are confused. The question didnt say who's the better fighter or who would win in a fight. Anybody who dosent think Judah is a better boxer then Pac is blind.

I generally understand the term its just the way people use it confuses me, for example a boxer who lacks defense is much more associated with heart than a defensive boxer which pisses me off, I dont know I just feel the way people use it in a way that discredits skilled boxers.

That is why I gave to examples of come forward fighters in Corrales/Freitas one had heart the other one didn't. Just cuz you comeforward doesn't mean you have heart I agree.

And, just cuz you're a defensive fighter doesn't mean you don't have heart or not tough.

IMO Whitaker best defensive fighter in my lifetime had heart and was tough.

I don't care how defensive minded or safety first reputation Floyd has. IMO that dude is tough and has heart.

I seen him punch Carlos Hernandez in the face, break his hand, go down from the pain. And, then continue to use that hand and whoop ass. I have seen him get hit against Emmanuel Augustus/Burton get hit more than any other fighter. And, not only get hit but to be leaking, and whoop ass. IMO no matter how offensive minded he is or how safety first he is dude has heart and when push comes to shove he is a tough dude.

I look at like this too. How many times did Gatti, Floyd, Roy,messed up their hands. And, after the fight made nothing of it? But, then you have Clottey after the Margarito fight raising up his hand and yelling "my hand, my hand" Or you have Cintron after the Jesse Feliciano fight rolling around in the ring crying about his hand like a baby... But, yet Gatti, Floyd, Roy and many more ****** it up toughen it out and went on like nothing... Is toughness, is heart... you either have it or you don't.

Yeah you get it, floyd is the first fighter that comes to mind when i think about it, Whitakers a great example too. I had a conversation with my dad about this the other day and he said its probably got a lot to do with Ali(obviously a young Ali when he was much more defensive and flashy) and how the media wanted to discredit him especially in comparison to marciano.

judah was fast and athletic, not skilled, as he shows he is easily exposed when he tires, dudes stamina sucks

skill means nothing if u dnt have the discipline to make it all work together. judah has more skill, def. but pac is the better fighter, hes great at what he does. judah is great at what he does for the first half of the fight, and even then its only when he's actually focused.
