There are reasons why jail CRIMINALS convert to Islam:The biggest issue is convenience converting. [...] At Ramadan conversions double. Some convert just for food and flasks. [...] Change to Islam to show off. Like a fashion.Nah, don't think so. He would have an ugly beard by now if he meant it.
Whether **** sex is allowed or not is an open question amongst ******s.
At least they allow sex with animals:You gotta love this about Islam: It's sooo useful in practice! But you never know what meat you are eating if you buy it from one of Ayatollah's ******sA man can have sex with animals such as sheeps, cows, camels and so on. However, he should kill the animal after he has his ******. He should not sell the meat to the people in his own village; however, selling the meat to the next door village should be fine

That's not what I meant by that post. If you convert then you have to get serious about it, otherwise it's not that helpful. You might as well have stayed how you were before.Comment

Plenty ******s don't have beards and Tyson never had one. He converted initially to Farrakhan's Nation, which does not preach true Islam. It is universally rejected by ******s globally.
Something he said in the recent documentary relates to these current events. He talks about how unfaithful he was. How bad a husband he was to Robin (even though he is still in denial about raping Desiree). He also says that after converting in prison that was just rebellion. All his behaviour after conviction was rebellion in his mind.
He says that later on, looking at Islam, looking a his life and looking for true Islam he realised that Islam was a religion of peace. Not a religion of hate and war.
Obviously he stopped listening to nutty preachers and did soe reading. The man is remarkably intelligent when you hear hi speak. He is obviously disturbed but there is serious intelligence there.
He has been thinking about his spirituality and what converting actually meant. Thats what this is about he is looking at the religion as deeply as he can.
I don't think its a matter of identity for him. Its a matter of spirituality.Last edited by omarinbox; 07-05-2010, 07:11 AM.Comment

This is only half of the truth. The other half is that born-******s don't get serious about convert-******s. Converts to Islam are second-class ******s:Thus as a convert you will likely lose all your non-****** friends while not getting new ****** friends. I don't know however about your fellow criminals who converted with you in jail. Maybe they WILL stay your only friends. Not only, in my experience, are you likely to be left entirely to your own devices, it's even hard to get useful information and practical help when you do want it. [...] The convert experience is basically one of isolation and loneliness. You'd be surprised to know that most converts are outright ignored by the people in the Masjid. Beyond a few pleasantries and handshakes, they are usually never made to feel welcome or accepted. They are often cut off from their non-****** friends and relatives

I listened to his most resent interview and he said strongly he was a ****** before prison. (If I remembered correctly that is)
I'll try and find a link to that interview. It was posted in a recent thread on NSB.Comment
