Letterlough Murdered, Aponte Dead

According to trainer Marshall Kauffman, light heavyweight contender Julian Letterlough was shot last night and was pronounced dead at the scene. Letterlough was well known for his great punching power and the exciting fights he had on ESPN. He is survived by a son named Julian who is 15 and started boxing himself 6 months ago. Also according to Kauffman, Jose "Cheto" Aponte was found dead three days ago from unknown causes. Aponte fought some of the toughest fighters in the world at 130 to 135lbs including Mohamed Abdulaev, Michael Stewart, Yusef Mack, Teddy Reid, Paul Spadafora, John Brown, Tracy Harris Patterson, and Leonard Dorin just to name a few.
