I think overall Floyd is the more polished better fighter and Pac is the more explosive fighter.

However what separates these two isnt skill or speed or resume. Its smarts. The smarter fighter will win.

What I have come to realize is that Floyd doesnt fight with his fists he fights with his brain. Watch the Shane Mosley fight. The adjustments he make are so ridiculous. He gets hit with 2 huge right hands in round 2. Shane goes the next 30 minutes without landing another right hand.

Adjustments. Floyd has that down to a science. He will find a weakness and poke and prod at it until his opponent is mentally and physically beaten up.

Against Pac will be no different. He will find something that works. Most think it will be the lead right. And to a certain extent I agree that is the pucnh that will light Manny up alot.

    BUT.....

Floyds jab is laser accurate and blazing fast. It didnt miss Shane once. When Floyd threw it Shane had no idea what to do. Floyds jab will be important than his lead right. The lead right is always there but the Jab will make that lead right even more deadly when he throws it.

Also watch for body punching. Vs. Lefties Floyd attacks the body relentlessly.

Corley, Judah, and Mitchell got pounded to the body. Mitchell was stopped to the body and Judah was hurt to the body several times. Floyds body punching is nuts and goes unnoticed to the casual viewer. Pacs body will be attacked and hard.

    Lastly...

Watch for inside fighting. Watch the clinches. Watch how Floyd maneuvers on the inside. Pac is not a good inside fighter. Floyds is hard to hit on the inside and he can still get off laser right hands and hard body shots on the inside. I dont think this fight will be competitive or close in any shape form or fashion.

Floyd will win almost every round. Early rounds will be Floyds but he will turn it up later in the fight and do more damage.

I got Floyd 10 rounds to 2. Or late stoppage around Round 10.
inside fighting as in hitting with his elbows right?

    you're absolutely right.

he has that skill down to a science.

I wonder if Mayweather will stand and fight Pacquiao, he could possibly pick him off but Pacquiao will inevitably land that left hand in mid ranged distance.

How do you see Mayweather approaching this fight? How will Pacquiao respond to his speed and timing?
Another good question is: Will Mayweather be intimidated by the volume, speed, and awkward angles of Pac's punches if they fight?

Pac has more than the left hand and does not stand there in front of guys and trade...any of his recent fights show this. If Pac was still a left handed only puncher/slugger would he be able to make Cotto look like a bum (just saying what happened) and drop him whenever he decided to? I know he did not knock him out like he did to Hatton but it was pretty bad none the less.

People make it sound as if Mayweather will beat Pac like an amateur and I think this is just trash, especially coming from alleged avid boxing fans. He is going to have his easiest fight against the guy that many think is the best boxer/fighter of the past 10 years (since he did win the fotd award) or possibly all time considering the opinions of some posters?

That was going to be my question. And will be befuddled by the southpaw stance with the speed and power that Pacquiao brings.

Perhaps that is the only reason we have not seen the fight happen.

LOL @ the thread topic. At this stage of PAC's life(inside and outside of the ring) I don't think there's anything that would intimidate PAC.

That's why I believe Pac can beat floyd to a pulp. Pac has lost several times already and in fact got KTFO early in his career but still managed to reach where he is now and is not even afraid to face opponents bigger than him. I for one never thought he'd go this far as i did not even give him a slight chance with some of his opponents but how about floyd? He has everything to lose due to his big fat mouth. He carefully managed his career just not to lose his zero plus all those trashy talks just to make his fights sell and dazzle all those in love with him here with all his fraudness the reason they don't see it he's actually a fraud.

Thus why fraud will avoid Pac at any cost that i wouldn't be surprised if he floyd will hire assasins to literally kill Pac as the character assasination they done before did not work...

                  NO.

                  Pacman is a FIGHTER!

He fought boxers from Flyweight to Welterweight, who are taller, and heavier but he was NEVER intimidated!

Your hate on Mayweather is getting boring. Onto ignore you go...

                      I can't stand the ******* logic...

Manny refuses the drug test and cancels negotiations. Mayweather say's "Take the test and we can make the fight" and Pacquiao refuses to agree. BUT somehow this is all Mayweather's fault? I just dont understand some people's logic at all.
