What was exposed long ago is his lack of a solid defense.

If I recall Mayweather was almost straight up knocked out in his last outing.

I thought this thread was about Pacquiao-Clottey.

Well, in terms of he doesn't know what the hell to do against a solid defense. Then, yeah, he was exposed.

Other than that, no. Not really.

Never had great defense, and Clottey's lack of activity led to Manny having a little lower guard than usual. I didn't see much difference.

I think you should pick one of his wars like the 2 with Marquez or the first one with Erik Morales if you're gonna use the word exposed, and not a one sided beatdown.

I don't think that it should be a surprise that Clottey was able to bust up Manny. I mean, I always thought that Joshua looked really big at welterweight and was stronger than the average person at that weight. As far as Manny's defensive abilities, this isn't a surprise to me and it shouldn't be to anyone else who's been watching his career. Manny isn't a great defensive fighter.

exactly, it can actually be said that he took solid shots well from a fighter who willing admits that he rehydrates to about a mw but anything else, i don't think so.
