Cotto doesn't deserve another shot at Pacquiao one because he was not competitive when they first fought. Two he hasn't beaten anybody of consequence since then. And three I have a hard time picturing anything other than him just showing up for the paycheck like he did that night.Comment

I totally agree. Margarito blew his chance at any big fights when he was caught loading his gloves. I hope his license is never reinstated. It would be a travisty of justice, and a black eye for boxing.Comment

Agree with the option of Angulo option also. floyd is a very very tough opponent for Cotto and as Pacman i would leave him for later. Angulo, berto and JCCJ are fight I beleive Cotto should win although probably not easy. Margarito is also a fight Cotto can win IMO but he need 1st to get his license back. In other word, I don't think Cotto needs to wait for the Pacman-PBF negotiations.Comment

When cotto loses, he wants to redeem those losses, been like that ever since the amateur days and brings them to the pros in some cases to rematch. pac shouldn't Be an option.even with Emanuel,as much I like cotto.he would have to improve so so much and Emanuel says speed is his specialty, but the awkward angles gave him problems as well.
Options should be
1.cotto/am 2-obvious reasons
2.cotto/chavez-business reasons and the Chavez win last week is still fresh in peoples minds.
3.cotto/angulo-angulo is like 27,28 so he is in his prime, and top 5 at 54, still have the Mexican/pr rivalry going, but only thing I see halting the matchup is not good money wise.entertaining for sure.Last edited by the mesiah; 07-03-2010, 01:05 PM.Comment
