Don't disagree with it at all. I think that some of the other fighters at Heavyweight are more skilled than they are, they just don't have the size to compete with them.Comment

They can "sell" him however they want, but when he can't even come close to "selling" out his own hometown, then I guess that tells you everything you need to know.Good posts by both.
And to the Dawson question. He's undefeated. HBO can sell him as an undefeated fighter when all else fails. When Floyd didn't use to talk the **** he talks now, HBO used to sell his undefeated record.
Klitschko's are neither undefeated, exciting, or **** talkers.
I've been saying this for a while now, the Klitschko's don't need HBO.
Let them broadcast **** fights and **** fighters nobody cares about while they sell out 60k seat stadiums in front of fans that understand the sport and don't take all their cue's from HBO and their propaganda machine.Comment

In Floyd's 29th fight he was nowhere near the draw he is today. They can "sell" him however they want, but when he can't even come close to "selling" out his own hometown, then I guess that tells you everything you need to know.

Dawson is only 29-0 and has a decent resume. When I say sell him as an undefeated fighter I don't mean he has to be a cash cow now. HBO will stick with him since he's an undefeated fighter. Same with Berto, another fight you hate so much.(Which like I said before, you hate every black fighter and everyday you prove it).
People think being undefeated isn't everything, but it certainly helps you get contracts with the biggest boxing outlet in America when you fail at everything else not to do with your actual skills in the ring.
And the bold part, can they do that in America? That's the problem. They're not a draw, their styles are not exciting, they are not undefeated, they don't talk ****. With that said, i'm a big fan Vitali.Comment

BTW. The Klitschko's don't need HBO I agree. They are big Europe and can retire there with all the money they make.
But with the stacked lower weights, HBO doesn't need the Klits.
I'll def still try to catch their fights though.Comment

Sophisticated fans don't need fake **** talking or inflated records to enjoy their fighters. HBO saves that for the dumbed down American audience that they enjoy fucking out of ppv money since the fighters themselves obviously don't have the merit to warrant attention. In Floyd's 29th fight he was nowhere near the draw he is today.

The Klitschko's ditched American ******ity long ago. Evidenced by their choice to hold their fights in Europe in front of a distinguished audience that understands boxing.
In America, fans are fooled by uneducated criminals who throw money at the camera.
So yeah. Keep your "black" fighters who run around the ring for 12 rounds while going to decision and putting everyone to sleep.
Watch the Dawson fight when he fought in Connecticut and ask yourself why nobody showed up and those who did booed. And then ask yourself how in the hell HBO could ever possibly build that pos up, lol.
I'll watch the Klitschko's knock motherfuckers out senseless in Europe.Comment

exactly j-ro. i dont like them being in the business side of it. they should just telecast great boxing fights...If they dropped the K bros...
Then they better start dropping all their overpaid fighters they have under contract....
Matter of fact how about doing what Showtime does and that is stop signing fighters, and just get the best fights? Best fights/no rights is the way to go.Comment

Saucy Jack speaks the truth.
I love watching the Klitschkos dominate and KO all of their opponents.
Wlad - 48 KOs in 54 wins
Vitali - 38 KOs in 40 wins
The Klitschkos (86 KOs in 94 wins) are way more entertaining than all those boring blacks out there that can't finish fights and always go to boring decisions.Last edited by yessuh; 07-03-2010, 01:49 AM.Comment
