This makes boxing look pretty pathetic.

The undisputed heavyweight champion(s) of the world don't garner enough interest to be featured on HBO.
The biggest fight in boxing can't be made because one fighter is using steroids on his body while the other one has done steroids on his ego.

Why do I watch this sport? I don't know. What I can tell you though is that I won't be watching it for much longer if this continues.

Now does that mean that Adamek can beat either Klitchko? Of course it doesn't. I'm just saying that overall, he is more talented than they are. But not too many guys in the Heavyweight division are as skilled as the Klits. I'll admit that. But that's because the division overall sucks a big one. It's pretty sad when the third best guy in that division is a natural Lightheavyweight. And I think Adamek is better than Haye. This says it all about the Heavyweights right now.

Like it or not a jab-right hand is a combination. So your answer to your question "when has Wlad punched in combinations" is "every fight his entire career".

Adamek isn't nearly as skilled as you are making him out to be. He was completely and thoroughly outboxed by Chad Dawson yet you think he is the most skilled man at Heavyweight because he danced around fat tub of lard Chris Arreola for 9 rounds?

If Wlad Klitschko fought Chris Arreola he would throw 27 punches in a row too. He could probably work some variety in as well against a guy who doesn't move his head or body.

I really don't think you believe that Adamek would be able to land 4 and 5 punch combinations against guys like Ibragimov and Chambers while they were in full defensive retreat but the way you worded that post sure sounds like you do.

Wlad's first choice to replace Haye was Chris Arreola, because he was the only other opponent HBO would show.
Fair enough, but I find it strange how every fighter with a KO% near 80 somehow missed fighting Wladimir in the past 5 years: Namely: Peter II, Arreola, Briggs and Tua. All have higher KO%'s than geezer Austin, geezer Thompson, and hypejob Brock..

I also find it strange how Vitali has yet to be in with a boxer faster than old Lennox. Ibragimov? Chambers? You will NEVER see him fight anyone like that again. Id bet points on it. Vitali has been avoiding fast guys ever since he quit against Byrd.

Compare that to the awesome KO power of David Haye's Heavyweight opponents.

Haye has a very weak resume. He has NEVER faced a puncher in his entire overhyped career. He only fights old shot bums. The only prime fighter Haye ever fought was the glass chinned bum Maccarinelli.

              You're a complete moron.

And this is coming from a big Adamek fan.

All of those fighters are American (or semi-American in the case of Ruiz). Obviously American fans are mostly interested in seeing American fighters, and HBO is in business to make money. It may be bad for world boxing that they set the bar far higher for foreign fighters than for US ones, but they are not in business to be good for boxing, they are in business to maximise their profits.

its because the klitsckhos are atrocious to watch on television.

It has nothing to do with them not being american but everything to do with how unentertaining they are.

Americans live very dull uninteresting lives. We like to be entertained when we watch television. The klitskcho brothers are the complete opposite of entertainment.

You're being ridiculous. Chambers was ranked #3 by The Ring. To call him a bum is just moronic. And before the fight, everyone was saying Chambers had the skills and speed to give Wlad the toughest test of his career to date. He is a highly skilled defensive boxer who in many eras would have won an alphabet belt. He's at least as good as Byrd was, if not better. Wlad just had a style that Chambers couldn't cope with, just as Byrd couldn't.

And all but one of Vitali's opponents since he came back from injury have been ranked in The Ring's top 10.
