On a serious note, if the fight doesn't get made then boxing history could always look back and lable this incedent "The fight that never was" and boxing would still produce great stars with or without Manny and Floyd.

I think that blaming Arum for being a sleazy promoter is like blaming a King Cobra for being a King Cobra. It's kind of a requirement if you want to succeed as a promoter in boxing.

Seriously which boxing promoter isn't a sleaze bag buissnessman who tries to screw evryone else and lie as much as possiable?

Come on guys stop looking for a scapegoat so your fighter can look squeeky clean.

thats the thing i expect arum golden girls , don king and who ever to do their "promotor thing" . which is to be the biggest dirt bag sleeze bag as possibe. but in this case i think arum has a genuwine hatred for floyd because of their past history . just like 50 cent truly hates murder inc . its beyond boxing with those to its personal . bob will do and say anything to rake chicken littles name though the coal and make him skworm .

And, not that I'm siding with Arum because I think he's just as low as any other promoter but people really shouldn't fault him for looking at other options if this fight doesn't fall through. It's what promoters do.

And, it just so happens that his promotional company holds the deck of cards regarding talent/ PPV draws, therefore look how much easier it would be to bring two fighters of his own promotional stable to agree to terms as suppose to another promoter chiming in to agree to their terms.

at some point in time, fingers have to be pointed at the guy who actaully walked away. especially when pac is now wanted to accept the terms he orginally walked away from that are no longer on the table, might i add

saying its "both of their faults" is a copout

this time around, floyd holds all the cards, he doesnt have to compromise.

the problem is that hes looking at those "other option" moer like they are the first option.

also, people need to start faulting pac instead of arum at times. arum works for pac, pac can tell arum to cut the **** out but chooses not to

You get no argument from me in that regard, but hey, with this much money involved a promoter needs to milk the hype for what it's worth and have a stand-by option available. In this case it's two fighters from his own stable who wouldn't make any bones in signing the dotted line in the event that plan "A" (Floyd fight) doesn't come about.

I'm mad at both men and both camps. I have been for a while. I'm somewhat on Mayweather's side, but really that's only because I was a pretty big fan of his (although he's forced me to not be as much anymore) and I had never really been a fan of Pac.
