Corrales-Castillo II is inked!
WBC/WBO lightweight champion Diego Corrales and former WBC king Jose Luis Castillo have signed for a rematch of their classic May 7 brawl to take place on October 8 at the Thomas & Mack Center in Las Vegas. The fight is still not a done deal, however, until a TV deal is finalized and Corrales buys out a contract option held by promoter Art Pelullo. The card will reportedly be a night of rematches, with jr lightweight Jesus Chavez battling Carlos Hernandez and flyweight Jorge Arce going to war with Hussein Hussein.

I was ready for the rematch after the third round of the first fight but i didnt know how great this fight was gonna be after the 3rd round, now im praying andhoping and wanting this fight to go on to the next round cause this fight is not done, its been halted so both boxers can rest off.

the ref did his job, he stopped the fight when he did, took off points which was right, and theres controversy.

if he wouldve stopped it when corrales was down the second time, there wouldve been controversy.

if he wouldve stopped it after castillo took out the mouthpiece the second time, there wouldve been controversy.
