Corrales and Castillo sign to rematch 6-Oct

Corrales-Castillo II is inked!
WBC/WBO lightweight champion Diego Corrales and former WBC king Jose Luis Castillo have signed for a rematch of their classic May 7 brawl to take place on October 8 at the Thomas & Mack Center in Las Vegas. The fight is still not a done deal, however, until a TV deal is finalized and Corrales buys out a contract option held by promoter Art Pelullo. The card will reportedly be a night of rematches, with jr lightweight Jesus Chavez battling Carlos Hernandez and flyweight Jorge Arce going to war with Hussein Hussein.


That's a GREAT card.

The plan is to make this one a PPV.

You have to admit that's a solid PPV, and we were treated to it for free when Chico and Castillo did it the 1st time around.

I saw Arce vs Hussein live in March and it was a a fantastic fight. This could make for 3 brutal fights on one PPV.

After Showtime works it out it will be. And there's very little chance they'll fumble a rematch of their best fight ever.

This will be huge for them so you know they'll get it done.
