You know what isn't bad either...Clottey actually landed a higher percentage of punches than Pac. - Compubox So imagine if Clottey opened up a bit more...as a fan...you saw the damage Manny took with the 20 punches Clottey through.Shut up son
The man is all excuses. Manny landing 20 percent isnt too bad considering he was facing a guy who just kept covering up. Most pitiful performance by a fighter ive ever seen (CLOTTEY)
What a joke of a fight. After such an entertaining fight w/ cotto .... a complete SHAME
SHAME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
But you know what...that interview is very odd. How are you going to be competitive with Judah, Cotto, Margo and take more chances...and all of a sudden clam up COMPLETELY. It's very suspect. By the way I do like Clottey...he's cool to watch fight.Comment

co-sign in the bold.Well he has to deal with it, Of course that would happen not only to him but to most boxers, For me that isnt a bad thing, Ghana have produce some of the best boxers over the years and most of them are true warriors.
So Clottey or anyone shouldnt expect any symphathy especially with the way he fought in that fight. Ike Quartey, Azumah Nelson etc all critised him and rightly so.Comment

Thanks Clottey. Everyone keep saying how Pac is rising up in weight and knocking guys out. Outside of Hatton, who else has he knocked out since the move to 130? Jorge Solis and a shot Morales? Yeah, he defintely needed steriods to knock those guys out. Oscar and Clottey were both stoppages, not knockouts. Clottey went 12 rounds. He even said Pac doesn't hit hard, he just throws so many punches. That is why hes getting TKO victories. Pac was always a volume puncher.Comment

**** all these posters saying that fight was fixed. It played out exactly like 90% of us thought it would. Fact of the matter is Clottey was trying to tire Pac out and tried to turn things up late in the fight. He did that but Pac wasn't tired. Funny thing, Clottey's biggest volume round (11th @ 44 thrown) was the round Pac had the highest number of punches connected and much more accurately.
If you want to be conspiracy theorists explain this to me, how can a man come out and in the 2nd come inches away from KO'ing his opponent, then completely stop throwing anything for the rest of the fight? That's much more of an "oops I forgot I was supposed to let him win" scenario.
Pac's relentless offense and countering shut down Clottey just like Mayweathers defense and countering shut down Mosley.Comment

There is nothing suspect there dude. He just fought a fighter better than Judah, Cotto and Margo combined. Clottey for him he made the right decision to cover up. Pac purposely made an opening for him to take advantage of it but every time he throws he get countered bad. So he came up with the conclusion that if he takes more chances and open up more he get ko'ed in the process. He knows Pac gave him some free shots so he can be countered. He admitted Pac knows what he is going to do next. I'm not blaming him for his bad performance in that fight knowing what Pac did to Diaz, Oscar, Hatton and Cotto who took their chances against Pacquiao. You know what isn't bad either...Clottey actually landed a higher percentage of punches than Pac. - Compubox So imagine if Clottey opened up a bit more...as a fan...you saw the damage Manny took with the 20 punches Clottey through.

Total Punches thrown
Pac
36/117 - 31%
Clottey
12/44 - 27%
Clottey was more accurate while picking his shots and had power to hurt Pac but when he opened up Pac's accuracy and land rate went up as well. We all know defense first fighters like CLottey will not take those extra hits to get theirs in, its just against their nature.Comment
