And, then if you just go by skills, same size, same height, same weight all that.... IMO Dawson is the better skillful fighter.

But, cool as long as Dawson is a Pascal win away to get the #3 is all good.
    Margarito
    Winky
    Martinez

I think is better than Dawsons resume.

When Williams was a green fighter he beat Antonio Margarito for the WW title. What sucks for Chad is that hes in a bad weight class and would have to drop to 168 which he already said to stay relevant in the sport.

If he stays at 175 he'll fall down the list and at 168 there is no telling how he looks.

No, he should stay put and play Hagler, letting the world come to him over time. 175 isn't bad anyways. Cloud and Pascal are excellent young guys, Chris Henry is rugged and makes tough nights, and Uzelkov and Murat are serious comers should he unify and/or see them as mandos down the road.

You can say that Dawson was still green when he beat Adamek... Both P-Will and Dawson were ranked in the ring top 10 at the time.

Again IMO, 2 wins over Johnson, tarver a win over Adamek, and against a still solid Harding gives the edge to Dawson in the resume department. Especially when Johnson, Tarver, and Adamek were rated top 5 in their weight-classes at the time Dawson got each victory. And, Winky hadn't won a fight in years when P-Will beat him.

That's the monkey wrench of course (why it's pretty clear instead of crystal). Pascal would be enough to cement his top slot. Cloud would emerge as a MUST challenger (if he beats Johnson clean). I've stated before I think Cloud-Dawson is probably THE rivalry for this division before it's all said and done.

Yes, I agree with this.... I been saying that Dawson should not move down to 168... And, that 175 is not great or very deep but is not as bad as people make it out to seem. Like the names you mentioned. And, if Dawson fights all of them.... Who knows maybe by that time Bute, Ward, Dirrell will be at 175.

Dawson has made it clear that he want money fights. At his age I cant see him pulling a Hopkins or a Hagler. Plus hes an HBO fighter they will go after big fights and those are at 168.

Cloud is good. I think Campillo is good. I dont see it happening. Dawson wants the money fights.

They can come up to get him then. No reason to go down for anyone. And he can want whatever but there's not many $ fights available so he's going to have to fight good guys and keep winning if he wants to be active.

I wish I felt the hype like everyone else did. I been saying for the longest that Dawsons toughest fight at 175 would be from Campillo.

                    Cool

BTW, are you still going to do the top 100 ATG P4P list?

And, also do the top 25 ATG Jr/super divisions but with the original 8 format?

I see what you mean but Shaw is already pushing for a Bute fight in Montreal. However there is that chance that moving down could just be a disaster and he gets his ass beat due to the weight. He said he could make it easy I don't believe him but we'll see.
