It would be hard to convince me Judah has anything left to compete on a world class level anymore. He hasn't beat a contender in 5 years and only fought once in almost 2 years. He only won 4 of his last 9 and those were against mediocre opposition.Comment

the only weapons zab had was the left uppercut, once he missed that he was done. Another thing, I saw fights of Zab when he was an amature and he ****** then too. He would be gassed by the third round. He has always ****** and will always suck. He's a wannabe thug who needs to run with his exploiting friends so he can feel important. I would beat the **** out of him myself and without any trainingComment

^^^ Exactly. In this topic alone, you can tell just how much people know about talent in boxing. They may know names, resume, **** on paper. But when it comes to seeing skills and ability, ho-lee-****.
Zab has the most complete skill set for a southpaw in the game right now. He has power in both hands, speed, footwork, variety in punches, understands range, understand tactics. Can fight inside or out, although he is at his best at mid range. Can make people miss, and knows how to block punches. He is moderately punch resistant. His ONLY problem is he gets discouraged easily, which is common amongst people with a ****** mentality. Give them a very hard challenge and few will rise above it.
If only he had dropped his father as a trainer. I understand the family thing but it's obvious his dad doesn't keep him focus nor pushes him hard enough. He needs a trainer who will make him stay focused and dig deep to pull out a victory.Comment

Nope, I completely disagree.Zab is waaaaaay overrated obviously, but I like this fight. I think it's a good matchup that I would go see if it was a local card. I wouldn't necessarily pay to see it or clamor for it to take up space on an HBO or Showtime card but Zab-Santa Cruz has the potential to be a nice little fight.
Interesting fight for bets as well. PM me if interested.
The kid could always fight, obviously. His problem was just that..... he always acted like a kid, both in and out of the ring.
Judah needed to grow up, and have a mature attitude toward focusing on his training and his personal life. Maybe he's starting to do that.Comment

good postEven in the amateur days Zab looked like something special. He never lived up to his potential, he does have the skills but lacks the mental decipline. The most focus I've ever seen him was the 2nd fight against Spinx. Mental toughness is harder to overcome than physical onesComment
