The superstar of the 90's ? Oscar DeLaHoya.

Agreed. Whitaker was the best but De La Hoya IS the golden boy...I think that says enough.

To be honest, De La Hoya wasn't a very big name at all in Britain. But I guess he was in America.

Chavez' best work was done in the late 80's. He really didn't do anything too impressive in the 90's outside of beat up Camacho.

I count his win over Taylor in their first fight and his draw with Whitaker as losses because, well, they were.

Sorry to hear that OG cause Chavez was one of a kind. We will never see a fighter that impressive in his prime. He beat more champs,#1 contenders and ex champs than anyone up to date.
Well atleast he has two fans in here, TheGreat1 and myself.

Man, Roy Jones Jr. defined the 90's. He was the only guy to consistently keep winning.

I'm gonna make a bold prediction and say Carlos Maussa ends up defining the 2000's

It was Roy Jones hands down. He is the one person in just about every post in this thread. Love him or hate him, he won just about every Fighter of the Decade Award out there.
