Yeah right directly after the Barerra/Soto fight Arum is gonna put the winner in with Miguel Acosta. I hope that I am wrong and Anthony Peterson gets his shot...

I was hoping this wouldn't happen. I like both fighters. Still rooting for Barrera. I don't think he has much of a chance to win, but he'll make it competitive for sure.

        Soto wins.

Then moves up to 140 and relinquishes the belt.

Soto wants no part of Peterson.

            Soto does.

You have to know the name of the guy you're running from.

But I think Soto knows him better as the guy who's gonna beat his ass if he grows a pair and fights him.

Yeah right. Soto has been a real man for so long, he doesn't know the meaning of running.

Peterson on the other hand is best known for fighting nobodies and being the brother of another boring loser.

Avoiding a mandatory to go on a senoirs tour is what I call running.

                Jesus Chavez?
                David Diaz?
                MAB?

Oh lets not forget the great Ricardo Dominguez(not old but a bum)

Who the **** is Dominguez? He could've made twice the money to fight Peterson.

                Hes being protected.

He and his people relized after the Guzman fight that Soto can't handle a boxer with movement.

He used to be a man who took on all challengers.

He fought those guys to get his feet wet at 35'. I don't understand why people think he would duck Peterson. What has he done thats so great or scary?

He's a boxer? lol.. maybe thats his first problem. There's a reason why Mexican fighters carry the lower weights and black fighters like Peterson sit on the shelf.

Why would you wanna see a "mover" like Zahir Raheem when you could watch a great boxer with heart like Morales?

Come on man. Peterson needs to man up and learn how to put asses in the seats.

Uhhh...Don't most fighters start off fighting tomato cans? Name one good name on Soto's resume before Solis and Juarez. Everyone starts out somewhere. Risk or no risk, you gotta respect your mandatories.

But like I said in the other thread, I don't even care if Soto and Barrera fight anymore, because the winner HAS to fight the Peterson-Rios winner afterwards or vacate the title, and in that case the Peterson-Rios winner will fight for the vacant title.

I wouldn't compare Peterson to Guzman. In fact the Peterson brothers were both the definition of coddled prospects until older bro fought Bradley. And when he did, he barely won a few rounds.
