The 2.4 million buys included A LOT of parties. In fact, I don't know anyone who didn't have a party (of the ones who watched).

My math is a bit fuzzy, but I would image say 3 million PPV buys at $50-$60 would generate more money then say 1.5 million PPV buys at $80.

Well if they speculate the same way, then it will be business as usual. But my point was that setting any PPV buy records is secondary to what brings in the most $$$.

Put Cotto vs Marg II on the undercard and I'd pay $100. Nahh, thats been going around lately but I don't think its any good. Two separate events are always more lucrative than a single super mega huge event.

I pretty much buy every ppv....I'll wait a week & watch it free...too much for me...I'm a heavyweight fan mostly but watch all boxing.I'm already tired of this topic
