A part of me wants to see Barrera lose this fight because he is taking the path of least resistance to a title. I think Acosta would be a tougher challenge and Valero would've been too. Hopefully JMM will fight Khan, Bradley, or Alexander and then I would push him back over Barrera since I consider those guys better wins than Soto.

I hope MAB wins, I would like him to be the first to get 4. I do think he needs another tune-up fight first.

MAB is gonna get massacred. I see no other outcome other than this.

Do people forget that Barrera lumped JMM's face up worse than it's ever been just 3 years ago?

Not only that, but Frank Warren and Khan had to cheat in the stoppage of the fight last year.

MAB can still fight and he will not get beaten easily by someone who just now turned to boxer from slugger, doesn't look like he's suited for 135, and is slower than he is.

Three years in boxing is a long ass time especially if you are talking someone like Barrera.

Because Soto has a mandatory who he already screwed over once, so he should respect it. And even if Barrera wins, I won't be quick to applaud him for being the first Mexican to win a title in four divisions because this would be a paper title. I know its not his fault that he was in so many wars and he passed his prime so early, but that doesn't make it any better.

Now if Barrera beat Acosta, that would be pretty impressive to me.

I think Barrera might have a slight chance of pulling this one off if it happens, Soto isn't the biggest 135 pounder so the size difference won't be as big as it was when he fought Khan, Soto isn't as quick as Khan so Barrera won't have as much difficulty and Soto can be lured into Barrera's traps so this could be an interesting one.
