How am I supposed to know if he actually signed the contract, yet? I believe Pacquiao agreed to the terms, though.

I read the article to see if Arum says Pacquiao has agreed to 60-40 and testing up the day of the fight bu tall he said is to trust him when he says all issues have been resolved? Why would anyone trust this lying old man? He's lied to us before about Mayweather not agreeing to 14 day cut off in March then that judge from the mediation blew Arum's cover as the liar he is and the fact was that Team Mayweather were the one's who proposed from no cut off to 14 day cut off in the mediation in an effort to save the fight, and Arum declined.

I will not believe anything this liar is quoted on. He's been negotiating by himself. Arum, Roach, Ariza and Pacquiao are the only one's on the news talking about this fight while GBP is saying no comment.

exactly. Arum has credibility issues. When Ellerbe speaks.....that's when i listen.....he says very little, but doesn't talk such ****. Haymon never speaks......let's see if he opens his mouth by the time this is over.

Well, that is the point. We only have one side doing all of the talking, so we don't KNOW everything exactly. Also, there was supposed to be a "gag order" on these negotiations based on what happened last time. Let's see what the other side says.

It sounds that way, but I'm not convinced. The talks CAN'T be done yet, if Floyd still has to "ok" the proposal. See where I'm coming from?

And that is good, nothing wrong with positive thinking. However, we only have one side breaking "news" to us, but we need to hear the other side before we can jump to conclusions. Let's see how it all goes. I'm ready for all of this to be done though, I will say that much.

for now I want to find out the exact details of drug testing and purse split thats in this contract supposedly sent to floyd for approval...

The point is that Pacquiao has likely agreed to all of the terms, including Mayweather's stance on blood testing. Now it's Mayweather's turn to agree to the fight and make it happen.

It's not only one side telling us everything. It's both. A little while ago, De La Hoya (Mayweather's side) stated that nearly all of the details for the fight have pretty much been agreed upon and the fight is close to getting done. Now, Arum (Pacquiao's side) is telling us all the details have been agreed by both promotional companies.

but Manny would most likely retire even if he were to fight Margarito or Cotto, as he still has his job as being a congressman ahead of him.

so why would Bob Arum not want it if he will lose his cash cow in both situations?

I think Bob's first preference is to fight Margarito. That fight would sell big in Dallas and on the PPV. I say it does over a million. It can be marketed well. Bob is fast losing all his stars. Pavlik is finished, Manny is about to retire. It's better from his perspective to feed Manny to the wolves.....in this case Margarito, whom i think and i believe Arum also thinks can beat Manny at 147. This rebuilds a star in his stable. He also makes 20-30% oiff both ends. He would make just as much if not more if Manny fights Margarito or even Cotto again.
