The referee told Toney in the corner he had 1 round and then the fight was gonna get stopped.
Toney came out in the 4th sporting one of the worst cuts I have ever seen and took Littles head off within 15 seconds. Littles got up but he was dead on his feet and was dropped twice more before it was stopped with James' eye hanging off his face.
I posted the video above, you should check it out, it was a great fight.Comment

So he has a bad chin because he got dropped early in 3 fights while in his mid 30's. Ok, if Joe had a bad chin, wtf was Ali's chin, whats more fragile than glass? Joe was down what 4 times in his career? And he won all those fights right? Usually he won the round too. And actually the reason he went down early had nothing to do with his chin, but more to do with his hands. He didnt spar at all, so later in his career he overreacted to punches early. He went down to Jones and then realized that Jones' punching power was nothing, and the rest of the fight fought with his hands down in the center of the ring laughing at Jones. Please inform me of whenever you think Joe was actually hurt at the end of a match? Would love to see pictures other than a forearm shot by RJJ. Hopkins' headbutts didnt even mess Joe's face up.
I never said coky had a bad or fragile chin.Comment

Depends what weight anywhere below Cruiser Calzaghe wins even when they were middleweights I think Toney would have looked drained like to RJJ fight. Toney although small is a natural heavyweight the dude can't even spell diet.Comment

The one is ofcourse Jackie Kallen, she was like a mom away from a mom for me, I love that lady. She took care of me when I was fighing. Actually had known her since I was like 14 or 15 when she stared her managing career out of the gym I fighting out of. James was fighting out of the same amatuer stable at the time and thats where they met. Ya know I designed Jackies logo for her Galaxygym when she opened it.
The other is Bill Miller. WhenI was fighting out of Galaxy my trainer would never let me speak with Bill. It wasnt until like 15 years later that I would get to know him. Once I got to know him I really wish I could have those 15 years back. Bill is just about the coolest guy in the game to me. We were working with fighters and we'd gettalking, just a great guy with some awsome stories of the fight game fro waaay back in the day.
When Jackie put Galaxy together she had created somehig very special. I love looking back on that period of my life.
With the video thanks for posting it up. James was awsome to watch back then..................Rockin'Comment

Nah man, that's not DiBella, that's me. LOL. I met them at a Kronk Benefit dinner that I attended last year to take some photos.
Jackie is awesome, so friendly, always willing to take time out to talk or for a picture.
And meeting Bill Miller was a real thrill for me. I grew up and still live in the Ann Arbor area and when I was a kid the only fighters I knew were Mike Tyson and James Toney.
Bill was awesome, he and James were made for each other.Comment

Damn why are people trying to make RJJ's win over Toney look bad saying Calzaghe would beat that Toney? Like RJJ didn't beat an undefeated top P4P James Toney.
2001 Calzaghe was not ready for guys like prime Jones, Toney, Hopkins etc. Now a 2006 Calzaghe I could see beating Toney, because Calzaghe was more comfortable with his new style of throwing a lot of punches to win fights due to his hand injury. 2006-08 Calzaghe was a beast. He beat Lacy and Kessler, two atm dangerous undefeated fighters easily. The 2001 Calzaghe won't stand much of a chance against Toney.Comment
