James Toney by TKO. He would have beaten him just like he did a 36-0 Michael Nunn.

Calzaghe would have a very hard time landing any slaps on the crouching, rolling Toney and would leave himself open for about 800 countering chances over 12 rounds.

Joes speed would give James some trouble but he would deal with it. James stands with Joe exchanging and using the shoulder roll and his excellent defense to make Joes attacks relatively harmless while landing decent shots himself. When the fight gets tough Joe begins cuffing with his punches, trying to be that little bit quicker, causing swelling and cuts over James eyes. James bitches to the ref about the slapping and the cuffing as does his corner. Joe demanded that the fight be fought on his turf and now we see why, the referee does nothing about the slapping/cuffing and tells James to fight on. After recieving numerous more cuffs and slaps another cut opens above James' eye. James shakes his head and storms in on Joe with all of his might busting Joe in the face and then directly in the nutz. Joe takes a knee immediately waving his hand as though he can not continue. The ref warns James, who has a grin from ear to ear, and gives Joe time to recover. The fight resumes and again Joe is cuffing James' eyes as they fall into a clinch. James looks at his corner as if he cant believe that this hometown ref is actually allowing Joe to tear up James eyes with his illegal blows. James shakes his head and promptly raises his knee hard into Joes nutz. The ref immediately disqualifies James. James gets one glove off, flips the crowd off, flips the referee off and finally flips Joe off saying, "Fight like a man, Beeeaatch!" and leaves the ring.............Rockin'

So he has a bad chin because he got dropped early in 3 fights while in his mid 30's. Ok, if Joe had a bad chin, wtf was Ali's chin, whats more fragile than glass? Joe was down what 4 times in his career? And he won all those fights right? Usually he won the round too. And actually the reason he went down early had nothing to do with his chin, but more to do with his hands. He didnt spar at all, so later in his career he overreacted to punches early. He went down to Jones and then realized that Jones' punching power was nothing, and the rest of the fight fought with his hands down in the center of the ring laughing at Jones. Please inform me of whenever you think Joe was actually hurt at the end of a match? Would love to see pictures other than a forearm shot by RJJ. Hopkins' headbutts didnt even mess Joe's face up.

Not that night he wasnt. I take it you never saw toney vs. RJJ. Please tell me a moment in the fight where Toney threw a hard punch that would have even slowed Joe down?

If Calzaghe was unlucky enough to cut James Toney with a punch James would promptly do him in Tim Littles style.

James was not that great of a puncher. He put them in good but he was not a one punch knockout guy. Besides the Nunn miracle, who else did he bust out with just one shot. James worked his opponents over, then knocked them out...............Rockin'

Hitting Prime Roy Jones Jr. is a much more difficult task than landing on Calzaghe. Most guys never committed to much against Roy because they missed everytime and got blasted for their efforts.

If that had been Joe in the ring with Roy that night he would have gotten brutally ****d.

Actually the Joe Calzaghe from 2001 had never been knocked down and that James Toney got knocked down by RJJ........Sorry anyone saying Toney is a hater. Joe woulda killed Toney on that night. Joe took eubanks' shots. Toney wasnt throwing harder than Chris that night.
