Ricardo Mayorga vs Ricky Hatton: WOULD be interesting

this fight would definitely be interesting if it was at 147 but mayorga isnt at 147 anymore..They both only know how to come forward..man this fight woudl be interesting

Mayorga obivoulsy isnt the best boxer around but that guy can take a punch like none other in the sport. Forrest was not a huge puncher but was very accurate and did have the big punch in him. Obviosuly Trinidad is a huge puncher and Mayorga took some bombs before being dropped in the 8th. Hatton can punch like hell also but Mayorga can take basically anyones punch at 147. I would also go with Ricardo.

Some bombs he took 8 rounds of non stop bombs moving up in weight to fight one of the hardest punchers in the sport. Incredible performance by tito though maybe he lost some power maybe mayorgas chin is granite literally. Mayorga would beat hatton if mayorga could walk through everything tito had to offer for 8 rounds hattons punches will feel like being hit with pillows. Only thing that could stop him and its very possible is mayorga is out of shape like he was in the tito fight and he gets ripped with the relentless body assault of hatton. That is the only way hatton can win overall mayorga by 9th round tko.

Personally I would favor Hatton. He can do a lot more in the ring and would be able to cruch Mayorga ribs all night long, Moyorga has no jab whatsoever. It be a ***** of a fight though, either guy could get DQ'ed.

would anyone consider tito not being able to ko mayorga till the 8th with all the hard shots he was landing a sign of things to come and that tito wasnt the same tito? i sort of get that impression but im not sure.
